He is the last born child of King Leruo and his lead consort Kichea.

Many moons ago, Kichea and her mother Nurisha were presented to King Sithombo. Kichea was betrothed to Leruo since cubhood, and they grew up together. After Sithombo's untimely death from rabies, Leruo became King, and Kichea became his favorite mate. Even though she didn't posess stunning beauty or skills like many others, she found the key to Leruo's heart. Their relationship remained strong for several years, but sadly their union wasn't as fertile as it was expected to be: most of their cubs were born weak and didn't make it to adulthood. The couple started losing hope. At that time, Leruo put his eye on Cheza, a younger lioness who quickly got promoted into the pride's "core". Kichea's position as the lead consort became unstable. But she managed to regain her status and bore three more cubs, daughters Asante and Onyesha and, finally, a son, surprisingly strong and healthly considering her age.
Leruo was overjoyed and immediately called the boy his heir.

When he was 1 year 5 months old, his father Leruo died. The heir was too young, so Tuwife, who had been waiting for his chance for years, claimed the throne for himself. Four months later, his mother Kichea also died.

March, 15: aged into an adult. 591 stats.

The young lion grew stronger and bigger, and Tuwife started seeing him as his rival.
