Grullo the Third king to Queen Sandstone A great, shaggy beast leads you through his home amiably, his massive footsteps and jarring teeth betraying the warmth in his expression. Grullo the Third loves his pride dearly, that is evident in how he speaks and even how he looks around him; you've no doubt he is a marvel to behold, and a formidable foe, should anyone challenge his loved ones. Still, an odd feeling brushes over you whenever there's a moment of silence, like he's trying dutifully to portray a noble hero he's heard of in fairy tales... The occasional little things, like adjusting his posture or adjusting his tone. Not unconfident, not at all... but rather like he is playing a role, one that is not all him but one he nonetheless enjoys. Well, you decide, it suits him well enough. The second reincarnation of the King, Grullo never met the pride's previous ruler. Grullo the Third was born the day the King passed, unlike the previous reincarnation, who seemed to arrive like a goddess's blessing, ready to lead... Thus, Queen Ragnhild took charge of the pride as Grullo grew. Much to the pride's relief, this allowed him to be raised by the pride, truly becoming family before he took the throne; the uneasy mystery that had shrouded his predecessor would not follow him.
