The Territory
	At the foot of a mountain lies a large, shallow pit in the earth. Most of it is covered in dry, cracked earth, but at the center there is a rapidly vanishing pool of water from the recent rains. Sharhain's pride lounges around it. The King himself is lapping at the water, keeping his sapphire eyes calmly trained on you. Lionesses and cubs bicker over a recent kill nearby. This setup on the lake bed is temporary. When the wet seasons come the pride retreats to the rocky fringes of the mountain, and when the lake dries up completely they must travel for water. It is not a comfortable existence, but the small pride is opportunistic and greedy.

	King: He rules his pride with an iron fist. Baroness: The king's right hand lioness who also manages trade deals. Heir: He will take over once the King dies or retires. Guardians: Sub males who help the King protect the pride. The only Guardian lionesses have August traits. Lead Huntress: The most experienced Huntress who coordinates the hunting parties. Huntresses: They hunt for food and work together as a team. Witchdoctors: They mix magic and nature together, curing and altering lions with experimental potions. Only lions with October or November traits are Witchdoctors. Elders: Lions 14+ years old or disabled who keep cubs safe and pass on their knowledge. Cubs: Lions under 2 years old. They also run Beetle Battling.
Pride News
	August 18, 20 - King Zuriel has chosen to step down, as Griffin (now King Sharhain) and his followers grow stronger by the day. August 1, 20 - Elder Mesha the first lioness of the pride has died. She is survived by her daughter Chryssa. April 28, 20 - King Zuriel feels his strength fading, tricked into sipping from the Primordial Spring by the heir and his followers...

If you are successful with a skill attack, you will gain some experience and a small increase in skill. If you are successful with a territory attack, you will receive some experience and your territory will expand by 1 space. If you are successful with an experience attack, you will receive a big bonus to regular experience gains from a fight. A lion can only be attacked for territory once per day, and can only be attacked once every 2 hours. You cannot attack a lion who is more than 2 levels below yourself.
