You enter a dark, eerie cave. There is an absence of sound, you can hear every step you make. Suddenly, the sound of water dripping comes from above you. You look up to see water droplets falling from tiny holes in the cave. You shake your head and think to yourself that this cave sucks, but you came to greet Queen Zelkos, so you proceed. It only gets darker the further you go. You start to wonder if she gave you the wrong cave, looking around and noticing the dripping water was now behind you in the distance.
You notice a glistening gem within the cave, a beautiful, purple one. As you keep walking, these gems become more and more frequent. You are so distracted by their beauty, the gems get bigger and bigger and completely cover the walls of the cave. You smile to yourself as a feeling of warmth and happiness suddenly washes over your body. The atmosphere feels light. You feel your tense neck and back muscles relax, and take notice of each breath you take. You hear the hard pounding of your heart begin to slow as your relax. You take in every sensation of the cave and your muscles as your paws lift and take each step. You've forgotten why you came here in the first place, but you don't want to leave.
You continue and are so relaxed that you don't realize all the purple gems have turned into fluffy purple clouds. Everything around you begins to get brighter, and planets begin to form around you. You look around at all the beautiful stars and huge planets around you. You notice a lion emerge from the purple clouds, a shadow of sorts following closely behind. You watch the shadow’s many red eyes lock with yours, and you quickly divert your attention back to the lion. You are confused, where was Queen Zelkos? He immediately recognizes your confusion.
"Welcome. I'm Kythos, son of Zelkos. We keep her in our memory, her time on this earth is done."
He looks to the clouds beside him, a lion figure prancing about in the purple clouds. As you looked closer, you realize it's Zelkos. Her silhouette stops playing in the clouds momentarily to give you a warm smile, ensuring that she is in a better place. Your attention is brought back to Kythos inviting you to explore his pride and territory.
