Hello! Welcome to the Wormwood Pride.

It was not a breath of relief, when Beetlestar's deputy and son, Daceflood, took his father's place as the pride's leader.

The elders who spoke high hopes of a lion so determined to set things right were dying, or already dead. Cubs were being born and raised in a cruel, cruel land with nothing but the fear of failure ending in their death.
Dacestar fit perfectly into Beetlestar's plan, as the new leader of Wormwood shares his beliefs, and agrees with his ways. Now, with the little hope some fleeting pridemembers have, can they live to see change?

MY ROLEPLAY RULES

[] please be at least semi-literate. no "*" or anything like that. keep to at least one paragraph and two/three sentences. details!!
[] i should reply at LEAST once a week. if i don't, and forget to inform you on why, feel free to message me again! i hope you'll do the same - contact me if you won't be able to respond for the next 7+ days, and to expect my gentle nudging of a reminder if i don't get one.
[] i won't do everyday human roleplays. i enjoy human sci-fi, fantasy, etc. roleplays much more.
[] some examples of the roleplay/genre/plots i will do ;; canine (wolfpack, dogpack, etc.), feline (warrior cats, lioden), anthro, creatures, and humanoids (not-completely-human, abilities/powers, demons/angels). and more recently, fnaf (five night's at freddy's)!
[] i can, and will roleplay mlm, wlw, mlw, and anything else, i am completely lgbtq+ open and safe!

"Son," Beetlestar's words break the silence of Daceflood's vigil -

the lean felis turning his head and fixing his eyes onto his father with acknowledgment. Beetlestar really was getting old, he noticed with a spark of glee.

"Your time has about come," the primal continues after making himself comfortable a few feet away - a respectable, if not wary, distance. "But you will have to earn it. I don't want this pride thinking either of us are weak - I do not want to hand over the throne, and I do not want you to take it like a pitiful prince."

Daceflood nodded - he could only expect this from Beetlestar. He understood, and agreed. "Of course," he drones out, seeming quite curious now. What did the old lord have in store for tomorrow?

"A fight. A battle for the throne, if you will," Beetlestar reveals, long canine fangs stained with year-old blood from battles and kills. "I'm positive you'll be able to beat me, however embarrassed I may be to admit it. You're young and strong, and I just have experience on my side, now that I've become old. Do you understand the terms?"

"Will I be killing you, Beetlestar?" Daceflood questions, brown eyes squinting in the dark of the night. He sees the large head of the primal nod, and he hummed thoughtfully - too thoughtfully, perhaps? "Alright. I understand. May the best lord win, father."

Attack This Lion
Read about attacking You can attack another lion for one of three reasons - skill, experience and territory. If you are successful with a skill attack, you will gain some experience and a small increase in skill. If you are successful with a territory attack, you will receive some experience and your territory will expand by 1 space. If you are successful with an experience attack, you will receive a big bonus to regular experience gains from a fight. A lion can only be attacked for territory once per day, and can only be attacked once every 2 hours. You cannot attack a lion who is more than 2 levels below yourself. The defending lion will receive a defensive buff, so keep this in mind before attacking. It will cost 20 energy to attack this lion.
