Welcome to the Moon Tribe

After hours of being lost in the savannah you come up to a small pond and decide to take a sip. After a while of rest you decide to look at your surroundings. A white object is sticking out of the grass, you approach the object to realize to your horror that it is a severely damaged lion skull. without a second though you leave the area. The further you go into the territory more bones are visible, lion and other animals. You look up to see a figure in the distance but the heat waves make it hard to see, a second later it disappears. Assuming it was a mirage you continue on your way. After a couple minutes it appears again and this time getting closer. It becomes clear to you that it is a lion. This brings your hopes up, you might be able to figure out where you are. You and the lion draw closer and closer. Then something feels off, your mind flashes back to all of the bones you have seen since entering this territory. At this point you can see the lion clearly, it's a lioness with horns, large red fangs and claws. As the lioness comes closer you smell the salty tang of blood. You begin thinking about taking off, how this could be bad, and what she would do to you. You snap out of your thoughts just to notice she is right in front of you baring her teeth. You see a large primal male approaching be hind her calmly. you assume this is the king. Your attention flicks back to the lioness as she says "the gods will be pleased by this". Without a second of hesitation the primal leaps at you slamming your head on the ground the world spins and goes black. You wake you with a splitting headache and notice your being dragged and your feet are bound in ropes. You look up to see the primal male dragging you by your scruff. You begin to thrash around managing to get one of your feet out. The lioness slashes at your face making you stop moving "be still or it will be much worse than a simple scratch, the gods like their prey alive" she hisses. A moment later the primal drops you then goes to sit down, you take a look a your surrounding you see the lioness bow her head at a cave up on a cliff side. A few seconds later a marshy green tigon and a orange leopon step out of the cave "I have brought the trespasser you foretold" purred the lioness looking back at you. "Thank you Venus" the tigon spoke gently. You start spitting curses at Venus but before you could finish you hear what can only be described as a tiger and lion mixed roar you look up to see the tigon and leopon graring down at you. The tigon looked to the leopon and a silent agreement was made. The leopon raised her voice and spoke two words that chilled you "kill them". you begin thrashing around again, asking Venus who she thinks she is. She coldly answers "I am the queen" and starts approaching you. You quickly get the rest of your remaining feet out of the ropes and take off, you hear a snarl behind you but it was quickly cut off by a powerful roar "Venus they have proven their will, leave them". You look back to see Venus has stopped chasing you but was just glaring at you, she soon turned and went back to her camp. You kept running and running until your feet gave out on you. New questions flooded your mind, what was that pride, who was that lion? Those markings she had, could she be cursed? It didn't matter, right now the only thing you could really think about was getting as far from that territory as possible.
