Wandering through your territory on the usual carefully planned out rounds, you look around for any movement, the animals have long since gone quiet and it's beginning to unnerve you. The females of your pride have been coming to you for a little while now with stories of a strange black creature skulking around your territory and they are beginning to worry, so being the good king you are, you decided to find and possibly chase the intruder out.
That however, was about two hours ago, and you were now beginning to think that they were just seeing shadows, as you were about to turn back however something catches your attention. Curled up in the filtered sunlight under a tree was a odd black lion, extremely emaciated with a long shaggy mane, thinking the lion dead you curiously move toward it until two Fiery eyes snap open, freezing you to the spot in surprise.
“Why hello there, I believe we have not met before.”
The other lion's voice surprises you, though at first you believed a rogue male had snuck in, it sounds much more like the voice you had come to expect for a female and honestly, you feel a little bit silly. The dark lion uncurls herself and sits up, watching you carefully as she coils her tail around to rest over her paws, head tilted slightly in curiosity.
“Can I help you with something?”
