Of Lions and Gods

Deep in the Felnovian country of Khankirae, lost to the world for many, many years, a pride of lions exists to rival the great Mahdros in Vystriana. This pride, led by Lord N'auvu and dubbed the Faen, has risen as one of the Realm's most respected clans.

Though once from the Mahdros many years ago, several Vystrian lions fled south and across the sea, navigating it by unknown means. They rallied to aid the veldryn in their time of need, and - at last - settled inbetween the jungles and mountains of Khan's vast expanse of unexplored terrain. Years later, it's grown to fill a large territory known as the Songlands, rich with a wealth of prey.

N'auvu and his queen, Sinekka, rule the Songlands justly, but their pride's familiarity with the traditions of the Mahdros have been all but lost. As the Faen pride continues to grow, Aular watches from the heavens, wondering at the time when the two prides will meet.

Because they will, inevitably, meet at last.
