Zor-El leads a pride of peace with the Watchtower, protecting and helping any animal they see suffering, hoping for the best to come for any living creature to cross their path

The Rogue's see this as foolish and wish for a stronger paw, a king who would show they were powerful, they follow Astaroth as he quietly leads his own pride of questioning lions

You walk into a clearing within a tangle of trees, a mountain stands at the back of the space where a lion emerges, his den seeming to reside within a cave. He jumps down and shows himself clearly, a body that is soft even in it's bulky shape and a presence that makes him seem as if he's the largest lion you've ever met, shaking his fur out as soft eyes look you over.

"Welcome to the Watchtower." His voice is kind, gentle even as it stays deep and brooding. "I am Zor-El. This land is mine to protect and my pride helps any of those in need. Feel free to rest within the den inside the mountain, it is large and safe. As long as you are peaceful, you will be welcome under my paw." With another shake of his mane, the interesting king wanders off into the trees, disappearing just as a small lioness bounds up to greet you.

She introduces herself as Mercy and soon you are meeting many kind lions with many different personalities. They are bright and kind, showing you a place to rest and making sure you are not injured. You watch as they all work within the den, caring for other animals and even some lions from other prides who come and go as they need.

A whisper from the shadows grabs your attention and as you turn, you spot another female. Her eyes are intrigued as she leads you through a tunnel into another space in the cave, this one having a small opening near the back to the outside.

"I am Nisha. I do not know what Zor-El has told you but he is a false god, believing himself to be a beacon of hope." Her words are said with anger, something like sadness lingering in her expression. "We are the Rogues. We follow Astaroth, he is Zor-El's son but he learned from the previous lord of the Rogue lions. He is a true god king, leading us to a glorious victory over the jungles."

Her eyes have taken on a feral look as she walks away to rub up against a different male. He is large for one not of the primal lineage and covered in scars. His eyes seem to glow and with a smirk that shows off blood stained teeth, he leaps through the back of the cave into the trees.
