The eydilian pride of lions guards the Spring of Eydis, which was found by the first king of the pride inside the Cave of the Silver veins. An old story tells of the mythical stone hidden in its watery depths - it is said that the jewel-like stone always keeps the water cold and clean, and that the water from this particular spring is a great source of strength fit for the king or queen who keeps both the stone of Eydis and their pride safe.

There have been variations to the story, some addressing the stone as a heart of a goddess, some telling the gem's power could turn it's guarding animals into humanoid beasts. A lion can only quess which parts of the story are true and which... less so. Whatever the case, the spring's water is delicious.
