In order to get some extra SB or GB, i've been playing around in phtoshop trying to find a style that I could easily recreate for the masses, the problem? I have no idea if there would be any interest or what to price things at!

The base I have right now is the one you see, I have it all preshaded in greyscale so I can pretty easily recreate your lioness. I have it resized as an avatar, but it would look cute as den art as well.

Feel free to be harsh, if you don't think it would sell, tell me so. I could also easily shade the eyes, I just found that when it's resized, it doesn't look very good. I've made a couple edits to this piece, please scroll down to see those changes.

Normally I do realism type pieces. Naturally, this takes much longer than these cutsy semi realism and chibi things i've shown. If I decide to sell lart in this style it would be for USD or GB only.

Here are the lines with a repositioned tail, is this any better?

So I went more simplistic for this one since my last attempt didn't go so well.

If there's interest I can also do a lion version of this.

I like the second one . XD Maybe have the first and second one or all 3 up ? My only input would be to make the legs a litttle bit longer or the torso just every so slightly shorter . Also on the more realistic ones , slight changes to the legs and eyes would do wonders :3

Nothing drastic though :3

I like the first one.
The only thing I would change is the shape of the paws.
They look a little to flat-ish.
You did really well with the shading, keep it up!

One way to fix the first model...lighten/ remove the line between the nose and cheek on the ground.

Edit:
I just noticed that lioness looks like my cat when I scratch her cheek in the right place :)

I adore the second one! I'd totally buy some art of my lionesses if it was in that second style :)

You've got potential that's for sure!
I'd buy it!
Bet it'd sell quite well as well.

For prices it's good to look at the sort of prices other people are setting for similar kinds of art.
I started off reasonably cheap and then just bump up the price as demand increases.

Don't worry I wasn't used to drawing lions either but commissions and copying photos studies are great ways to improve. :>

BE WARY I think I might've been a little too harsh so I apologise for that. But it's only because I think you have potential. uwu;

First picture:

I fully support what you did with the tail in the update. It really flows much better with the spine and overall pose.
It looks a little warped at the base, erase the thigh intersection and it should connect much more nicely.
The fluff at the end is wonderfully drawn but it'd work even better if you draw it to follow the curve of the tail. It'll help with the motion of it.
The back leg touching the shoulder is an interesting addition to the pose and certainly makes it more interesting (much approve) though the paw pad looks a little blocky. Smooth it out a little.
The wrists on your front paws look short, I'd recommend lengthening them a tad.
Her left ear (our right) should be rounder, maybe add a little fluff on the inside too and erase part of the line in front of it. It looks like the head and that ear are separate pieces. Do what you did with the other one.
The face and shoulders look amazing and the pose is really wonderfully and interesting! Shading is also really appealing. Great work! :D

Picture 2:

Loving this little cutie!
Those paws are adorable and line thickness variation is nice.

The back leg closest to us could do with a little more structure.
I'm not sure where the knee is in this leg. Maybe erase that top half the backwards C you've used, that should help it.
Take advantage of that little curve they have between their thigh and the heel. Do this for the other back leg as well.
Again, pretty fluff at the end of the tail but try and make it flow more with the S shape you're using for it.

Awesome stuff! You're off to a great start and I wish you plenty of luck! Hope my critique helps! ^^;

Thank you very much Encune, that was exactly the kind of critique that will help me out!

I'll redraw these guys again tonight and post them again so see if I have done any better.

Until I draw them again, i'm happy to hear any more critique anyone has.
