We are high school kids. My character is a girl who's a junior in high school and 16 years old. She lives in an abusive home. My idea for the RP is for the other character to eventually find something wrong with the girl, noticing stray bruises or emotional trouble. They end up intervening and eventually help her get out. A romance and trusting relationship blossoms, with her friend helping her heal and move on.

So it's not a super strick plot. We have a lot of wiggle room, I'de just like it to be similar to that. :).

So! Once your character is posted I'll move him to this post so we can always see the characters bios. And we can add other characters in too, such as school bully, preppy girl, whatever. If we have other people come in, I'll just add a section for extra characters and post names/etc under it. :)

Without further ado, here's my character. :)

Name: Lewanna Yeager
Nickname: None
Age: 16
Grade: Junior
Gender: Female
Group: Nerd/Athlete

Appearance: Her eyes are a bright hazel, with her skin tone a lighter tan. Her hair is a deeper red, with natural black highlights and about waist length, naturally wavy, but it's usually in a ponytail. She's about 5' 7". She is very athletic, leading to her nicely tones muscles and feminine curves. She could be considered very attractive, but she doesn't pay much attention to stuff like that. She is mostly tones muscle, with very little fat on her, usually wearing looser fitting clothes and never make-up.
Kind of this but different hair and a little younger:
Sort of this

Personality: She is a pretty outgoing person, her athletic physic and physical ability put her among the most popular kids in school. She's a very great student though, earning straight A's. She participated in a few sports, mainly track, and is one of the best in the school. She keeps this persona up, always saying hello to people and acting friendly in general. She doesn't tolerate bullies though, and will stop any bullying she sees, even if it means she gets sent to the principals office because she broke a kids nose. She never talks about her home life though, and if she studies with someone it's at their house, not hers. She doesn't trust anyone though, making all of her 'friends' really just acquaintances.

History: Her mother died when she was 12, causing her father to fall into a drunken lifestyle, and turning his emotional pain on his daughter through physical and mental abuse. She doesn't want to go to be just another kid in the system though, so she never says anything. She has a roof over her head, which she thinks is enough, and that she doesn't need a loving home.

Family: Mother died when she was 12. Abusive father, no siblings.
Other: None

Name: Ian Cross
Nickname: N/A
Age: 16
Grade: Junior
Gender: Male
Group: Outcast

Appearance: Ian stands at 5'6 and is considered much taller than most of the juniors in his school. He has jet black hair that's spiked up in front with deep, sable brown eyes. Though he's considered an outcast in the high school he has quite an athletic build and sports a a darker than usual tan. His normal attire consists of faded jeans, work boots, and button up shirts worn over black muscle shirts, rarely does he wear actual t-shirts as he finds them an annoyance to move around. ( Eye Color
/ Hair Style )

Personality: Ian has an artistic personality. He's usually caught daydreaming or drawing in his classes when the teachers aren't paying attention to him. He's also a perfectionist and everything that touches his desk is usually set in a certain place to keep himself prepared when the time comes. He doesn't do well with people, which is probably why people consider him abnormal. One of his weaknesses is imperfection and if something is out of place around him he begins to panic.

History: Ian moved when he was entering his freshamn year in high school he spent most of his time keeping to himself which led many of the students to strike him out as one the 'popular' kids. He's used to feeling left out as he grew up with much older siblings who moved out of the house before he was even in Middle school. As school passed he withdrew more, as a freshman he talked at an extent, raising his hand in his classes and answering the teachers when asked. Now in his junior year he rarely participates, choosing to leave everybody alone and stick to his own world.

Ian's eyes snapped open, the sound of an alarm blaring with its flashing red numbers shining in his dark room. He let out an exasperated sigh, swiping his hand down his face as he struggled to pull himself from his bed to get dressed. A month into a new school year and he was already dead tired of it. Having to get up early compared to Summer vacation, the sound of the school bell, and the buzzing from the life inside its walls had been enough to give him headaches, but he had no other choice but to go, at least not while his parents were around.

He wasn't too fond with this school, even more so since he had no friends. The only people he got to talk to him were new students. That is until they begin to drift off to their rightful place among the cliques. That was the worst part of it all, those packs of popular kids that file through the hallways. They were always cluttered in the halls, obscuring the classrooms that Ian had to go to and even better yet, he was stuck in the middle of it all. His locker sat in the middle of the largest meeting area known to the school. He was cornered by groups of the higher ranking kids, stuck between two well-known football players was far worse than just being surrounded by their entire group.

A frown seemed to scar Ian's face as he began with his daily routine that consisted of brushing his teeth, combing his hair that didn't seem to want to stay down, showering quickly, and getting himself dressed before he trudged down the steps to make a quick breakfast of peanut butter and jelly as he pulled his boots on and threw his backpack across his shoulder. Doing the early morning hours his parents weren't home, so he had nobody to say bye to before he left for school. Instead he quickly patted the head of the family pet, a large gray tabby-cat by the name of Willow, before he headed out the door and walk to the nearby high school.

Like always, Ian chose to walk rather than use the family car or even hitch a ride from the bus. It was easier for him to steer clear from everyone if he could, he already had to deal with them in school and having to ride a measly ten minute drive would only worsen his day. A breathy sigh slipped past his lips as he caught sight of the large building, his usual bright, brown eyes beginning to dull as he rifled through his classes through his mind as he walked the last couple blocks to reach the school, prepared to see what will happen throughout the day. "Hopefully I'll just be left alone." He sighed, raking his hand through his hair as he walked past the open doors and into the crowd of students that were arriving for the new day.

(Just gonna leave this post here :P)

Hazel eyes blearilly opened, the sound of her alarm clock blaring in the background. She went to slap it before pain shot through her wrist. She groaned, rolling over and turning it off with the other hand. Her lithe frame sat up in bed, eyes roaming around her room gently. She took a deep, gently breath before trying to figure out why her wrist hurt. Oh. Right. Her father had come home drunk again last night. It hadn't need to bad though, just a sprained wrist and a bruise on her lower side. She sighed, running a hand through her ember colored hair before standing up and heading towards the shower.

She slipped off her clothes, admiring her new bruise on her side, ironically right above an old scar. She sighed, slipping into the lukewarm water and showering quickly. She stepped out, wrapping a towel around her body before blowdrying her hair, letting it's natural wavy shape fall gently across her shoulders. Even though she was deemed one of the 'popular' girls, she still never wore make-up. Part of the reason was because during workouts and track make-up smears when she sweats. The other part would be because she thinks make-up worn all the time starts to look trashy. She walked into her room with the towel still tucked gently around her body, glad her father was already gone.

She dried all the way off, slipping on a matching set of underwear and a bra. She pulled on light blue jeans that hugged her smooth hips, slipping on a superman t-shirt that sat gently across her waist, not low cut though. She put on her necklace, the one with her mother's wedding ring, and tucked it under her shirt. Most kids who saw it chuckled or made fun, asking why she wore it. She normally got them to shut up when they heard it was because her mother had died. She never tells anyone it was in a car accident though, with Lewanna in the car as well. A drunk driver had hit them, killing her mother and leaving Lewanna seriously injured. She pulled away from the memory, a shake of her hear ridding her of the memory. She tried out her sore wrist, getting a jolt of pain when she moved it. Sighing gently, she walked over to her dresser, opening a drawer full of braces and bandaged. Anything from wrist splints to knee braces. Gauze to butterfly bandaged. She grabbed a simple left wrist brace, gingerly strapping it into place as she closed the drawer, glad she was right handed.

She grabbed her backpack, slipping on a light jacked and walking outside right as the bus pulled up, locking the front door on the way out. She lived about 10 miles from the school. Sometimes, when she felt like she had a ton of energy, she would run instead of taking the bus, but today wasn't one of those days. She slipped her usual smile onto her face, walking into the bus and replying to a couple hello and good mornings from her fellow classmates. She sat in her usual seat, almost in the back but not quite. She talked with one of her 'friends' on the ride there, getting asked a couple times why she was wearing a wrist brace. Her excuse of the day was 'I was running around my block when I tripped and fell, ergo spraining my wrist.' She was glad the brace blocked the finger shaped bruises on her arm from being seen. The bus pulled into the school, Lewanna filing out with the rest of the students as the day began.

(Haha. No problem. :) )

Students milled around the halls, happily talking about what happened to each other after getting home from school or talking about what their plans for today would be. With eyes directed to the ground Ian made his trek to his locker, moving between groups of jocks and cheerleaders before finally reaching his destination, his locker. He opened it with a few twists of the combination lock and opened it quickly, keeping it at a distance from the locker beside him so it didn't smash into his neighbors locker.

He puffed out a sigh, rummaging around as he pulled out the books he needed for his classes before gently closing it before making his way out of the crowd and off to his first class. With a frown he stopped at the closed door, shoulders slumping as he looked around. "Kidding me...Doors not even unlocked and now I have to wait here." Ian groaned as he lent against the wall and began to absently drum his fingers on his books as he turned his attention to the ceiling. He preferred not to earn the attention of the students walking past him. Usually he got a few students who shot a couple nasty words his way if they caught him staring in their direction so he learned to avoid any eye contact.

With his first class of the day being English he much rather just get it over with. He wasn't one for writing and half the time he dozed off while the teacher spoke, much like he did in a lot of his classes, but today was different. They had a test and he had to be alert so he could get it over with and be done. Lost in thought Ian was soon startled out of his own mind, the sound of a door opening had nearly made him fall over in horror as he turned wide eyed at his English teacher. With a shaky laugh as he walked into the empty room and sat down at his desk, waiting for the rest of his class mates to mill into the room.

(His schedule will go like this:
1:English
2:Psychology
3:Art
4:Lunch
5:Algebra 2
6:Study Hall
7:French; Year 3
8:Gym)

Hazel eyes danced across the hallways, her usual skip in her step present as she chattered absentmindedly with the other students. Quite a few people asked about her brace, even if she had it mostly hidden under her jacket sleeve. She weaved through the crowds with ease, toned muscles giving her precise control of her movements. She had learned crowd dodging was almost like a dance. Step one way, immediately jump between two students and step a different way. She sometimes liked to see how extravagant she could get with her movements.

She slipped up to her locked, pulling it open with ease after she input the combination. Her callused hands pulled come books from her backpack, leaving only what she needed before lunch. With a gently sigh she pulled away, closing the locker gently and turning around, heading towards her first class. She never understood students who slammed their locker doors closed. Wouldn't that just wear them out faster and cause them to have to spend more money on it? With a shake of her head she changed the topic rambling through her mind. Mainly to the quarterback of the football team heading straight for her. Apparently he couldn't take the hint that she wasn't interested in him. With a sigh she stopped when he was a couple feet away, crossing her arms and jutting a hip out, rolling her eyes when he spoke. "Aww come on baby. Don't be like that.'' Lewanna chuckled gently taking a few steps forward and whispering to him, "I'm not your baby.'' In what most people would deem an attractive tone before walking off, leaving him standing like a dork in the middle of the hallway.

She made it to her class quickly, slipping her smile back on her face as she ducked in, ember colored hair waving gently at the movement, flowing across her strong shoulders. She smiled brightly at the teacher, exchanging 'hellos' and 'how are yous' with her before taking a seat farther in the back of the classroom, her books pulled out in-front of her as she sighed gently, trying to manipulate her backpack and books with one working hand and one injured hand.

(Lewanna's class schedule

1. Physics
2. Algebra 2
3. Art
4: Lunch
5. Government
6. Study Hall
7. English
8. Gym

Ian watched as students filed into the class, taking their seats as the time ticked by.He brought his attention away from the door to look at the front of the room where his teacher stood. He looked to be in his 30's, chocolate hair cut short and tired eyes trained on the students in front of him. "Alright kids, we have a test today so hope you all studied." He muttered as he picked a stack of papers from his desk and walked about the room, tossing a single sheet onto every students desk until he got to Ian.

"Mr. Cross I assume you took time out of your day yesterday to review...With you sleeping in class you'll need the luck." He said sternly, earning a cocky smile from Ian.

"Don't worry, I'll ace this one just like I do all the others." Ian commented back, swiping the test from his hands as the teacher stared down at him a little shocked before he cleared his throat and walked back to his desk. "Alright, you can all begin! I'll collect the tests at the end of class so you guys have quite a bit of time to finish." He said before sitting back at his desk, eyes darting over the multitude of heads that filled the room.

Ian blew out a low breath, removing a pencil from his pocket, and began to work. Boredom had overtook him only minutes into the test, but he continued to work even though his eyelids began to droop. He ticked off and wrote down his answers, a sly smile tugging at the corners of his mouth as he pushed the finished test in front of him.

Even though he slept the time away in his classes his teachers always became baffled when it came time to a test. He had a knack for earning himself A's or B's without spending a single day in class listening to them or reviewing with the others. He was a smart kid, at least smarter than most in his classes, but he never showed it. Instead he chose to keep to himself, allowing the teachers and students to think of him as another anti-social kid that'll flunk out of every class.

Physics was always a pretty fun class for Lewanna. Not her absolute favorite, but one of them. She never liked the book studies much, but she thoroughly enjoyed the experiments and such that they got to do. She smiled gently from her seat, another junior high girl sitting next to her. "Alright. We are going to be doing a few experiments today, so pair up with the student next to you." The teacher announced. Lewanna slapped on an excited smile, turning towards the girl and shaking her hand, introducing herself and getting the name of the girl.

As class droned on Lewanna got pretty adgitated. The bruise on her side was starting to ache more then it used to, and only having one usable hand was driving her nuts. She had tried to use her left hand a few times, but severe pain shot through it, causing her to cease her actions and just use one hand. The teacher prattled on about physics, Lewanna not exactly paying attention that day. Normally she was one of the best students in class, but she didn't act like it today. She was tired from a pretty much sleepless night too, therefor distracting her more.

After what felt like ages, but really wasn't that long, the bell rang. Lewanna thanked the girl before stuffing her books and supplies back into her bag as fast as she could. She loved her next class. Math was always fun, and easy, for her. For some reason most of her school came easily to her, with only a few classes actually causing her to work and study hard for. She walked bristly through the halls, exchanging smiled or hellos with quite a few students, with the occasional 'I like your hair' or 'lookin good' from the guys. She sighed gently, rolling her eyes. She didn't keep her physical shape up to impress guys. She did it for herself, but apparently no one else knew that.

Ian was quick to get out of the class as soon as the bell rang. He had a hunch he passed their English test, but he quickly pushed any thought of that dreadful class from his mind as he made his way to Psychology, one of the very few classes he had actually enjoyed. Something about getting into someones mind just by looking at what they surrounded themselves with had intrigued him so he tried paying as much attention as he could through out the class.

As he sat down at his seat he watched a couple more kids walk through the door, most of them being those from the popular crowd and most likely just took the course to get an extra credit on their report card or to ogle the teacher. He couldn't help but roll his eyes before turning his attention away from them as he waited for the class to begin. He began to drift off to his own world once more, picking his pencil from its spot on the desk and began to sketch in one of his many notebooks, his attention only to be drawn away at the sound of high hills clicking against the tiled floor.

He glanced up in time to catch their teacher, a woman in her 20's, walk to her desk and begin to write something on the board. Miss Alden, one of his favorite teachers, turned her attention on the class before she began to talk, discussing what they would do in class as well as warning the students about a quick next week. The last bit earned a couple pained groans from a few students, but she quickly pushed the subject aside as she got into teaching.

They were going over a new lesson today, but the more she talked the farther Ian got into his mind. He stared absently at the front of class as though he were paying attention, but he had begun to daydream as he twirled his pencil in his hand. He pulled himself away from his own world as he began to jot down a couple notes that Miss Alden had began to write on the board before he took a quick look around the room.

Most of the students were too busy messing around to pay attention. They were either talking or throwing paper footballs as though they were still in first grade. He let out an exhausted sigh before turning his attention back to the teacher, listening to the slow ticking of the clock above him as he waited for his next class, art. Another favorite of his despite the large group of jocks and cheerleaders that seemed to swarm the class.

Lewanna breathed a gently sigh of relief when she walked into her math class. Her teacher gave her a bright smile, to which Lewanna did the same. She always enjoyed getting to class early. It meant she didn't have to deal with the students in the hallways as long, and she didn't have to wear that stupid smile all the time. She let it slip from her face, a line forming on her lips as she took a seat. She pulled out her workbook, sketchbook, and pencils form her backpack, slinging it across the back of the chair before resting down.

She still had a few minutes before class, so her eyelids began to droop gently, covering her bright hazel eyes as she relaxed into the chair. Granted, the little plastic chairs weren't that comfortable, but it felt pretty comfortable to her, since she was so tired. Her breathing evened out gently as she fell into a gently rest. Not actually asleep, but not fully conscious either. She liked this time, where she could just rest and not be bothered with having to keep up appearances, or expected to flirt with the 'hot' jocks.

She was abruptly awoken when the teacher walked over to her desk, touching her shoulder lightly. "You alright Yeager?" She asked gently, a motherly smile on her features. Lewanna smiled back, sitting up straight and running a quick hand through her wavy hair. "Totally asterous ma'am. Just a little tired, that's all." She smiled gently to the teacher, who nodded and walked back to her desk as the bell rang, the door bursting open and kids flooding in from the hallway.

She slipped her smile back into her face, rubbing her eyes quickly as the students piled in, some mumbling about how they hate math and other fighting over which desk to take. Once everyone was finally in their seats she looked up, opening her notepad and starting to copy down what the teacher wrote on the board. Her hazel eyes brightened at this class, genuinly glad she liked math and was really good at it, because she knew some kids who hated it and did really bad.

She was almost sad when the bell rang for her class to end. A small sigh escaped her as the teacher listed a couple last minute assignments that where due at the end of the week. She slipped her books back into her backpack, slinging it over her shoulder again and heading out into the hallway, grabbing her math homework on the way. She slipped it into her backpack as she headed to her art class, her usual smile on her face, but she tried her best to avoid talking to the students in the halls.

Ian's head jerked up when the bell rang, his heart thumping against his chest at the sudden ringing. He sighed, most likely dozing off earlier in the class as he couldn't recall anything that his teacher had said. He grimaced, running a hand through his unruly hair as he grabbed his stuff and hurried out of the class. He nearly forgot what class he had next, but soon enough he remembered he was about to walk into the best class he had on his schedule, art. "Wonder what we're doing today." He mumbled to himself, slipping past a couple people who shot glares at him for nearly running into them before he slid through the doors of the art room.

He smiled happily, eyes lighting up as he said hello to the art teacher who sat solemnly at the head of the room before he took his seat at one of the few four-seat tables and laid out his sketchbook and pencils. He laid his cheek on the palm of his hand as he flipped the black book open, immediately going to an empty page and began to draw as he waited for the rest of the students to file in. Luckily he had the table all to himself seeing how none of the students dare sit by him. Most people would feel lonely without the company, but Ian thought of it as a gift.

Ian's thoughts began to drift away as he laid his pencil on the unfinished sketch that appeared to be a wilting tree as he turned his attention to the door in time to see a couple of the jocks that had taken the class. He grim line fell across his face as he watched them take their seats and acting out like a bunch of third graders. Ian snorted, shaking his head slightly before turning his attention back to his drawings and drummed his pencil against the paper.

Her ember colored hair swayed gently as she walked into the art room. Her eyes roamed across the tables, completely ignoring the invitation to sit next to a couple jocks. She slipped towards the back of the classroom, sitting in one of the single seat tables. She pulled out her sketchbook gently, pulling out a simple #2 pencil. She didn't have much money, so her art supplies weren't extravagant or expensive. They where simple, and she liked it that way. She shuffled gently, her injured wrist annoying her, but she was right handed so she could still draw easily enough.

She heard the teacher talking about something, but she wasn't really paying attention. She loved to draw, it kind of being an escape for her. She could go into her own little world if she was drawing. Pull from her creative mind and put it on paper. She wasn't a very great artist, but she still tried anyways. Her eyes traveled across the room casually, nothing really standing out to her except for the one kid sitting at a table meant for 4 by himself. She shrugged it off, figuring he either didn't like people much or the other kids where afraid of him. She doubted it was the later, but you never know. She returned to sketching, hearing the teacher talking in the back of her mind, but not really paying attention. Her bruise on her side was acting up and that caused her to fidget quite a lot.

Ian picked his eyes up away from his drawings as he saw someone walk in, stifling a chuckle as the girl waved off the invitations to the jocks. They all seemed upset that she rejected them which only made it funnier. He glanced back at Lewanna before turning his attention to their teacher as she began to speak. He paid a great deal of attention in art compared to the group of jocks only a couple tables away from him. They were shoving one another and ignoring the teacher.

He let out a sigh before he stood up, heading to the back of the room so he could sharpen his dulling pencil and took the chance to shoot a glance over to Lewanna, a small frown forming on his lips as he noticed that she began to fidget in her seat. He let out a low breath as he began to walk back to his seat and stopped beside the desk she sat at. "You shouldn't fidget so much...Makes you appear scared you know." Ian said quietly as he looked down at her and smiled sheepishly before quickly walking back to his seat and sat down.

Lewanna sighed gently, her fidgeting still there as she noted the kid sitting by himself walk behind her, before she heard the pencil sharpened running. As she heard him walking back she turned her head when he spoke. She froze at his words, not knowing anyone had seen her fidgeting. She quickly righted herself, not having time to respond before he walked back to his seat. She tucked her injured wrist under the table, for some reason getting defensive. She told her head gently, so she could see the boy in-front of her, but so she could also work on hr drawing. She was distracted the rest of the class though, never finishing her drawing before the bell rang.

She sighed gently, standing up and slipping her stuff back into her bag, tucking her injure wrist into her pocket before slinging her backpack over her shoulder, walking quickly to her locker. She slipped her books into the locker, switching her before lunch class work to her after lunch class work. She left her backpack in her locker though, grabbing her lunch she had packed when she had gotten home from school yesterday. She walked into the cafeteria, again ignoring the jocks invitation to sit with them. More specifically sit between them. She rolled hr eyes, walking over to an empty table. She kept up the persona of a 'popular' girl, but inside she didn't like it. So when she wasn't feeling in top shape, like today, she didn't want to deal with the drama or pressure from it today.

Ian couldn't help but feel as though she was watching him. He shot a quick glance behind him, trying to make it less noticeable before turning his attention back to the front of the class. Quite a strange one she is...Fitting so well with the jocks yet she chooses to be on her own. He thought, smiling slightly as he drummed his pencil against his book. Once the bell rang Ian quickly collected his books and shoved them into his bag. He sighed, deciding not to drop anything off at his locker seeing how the hallway where it was located was teaming with jocks and cheerleaders so instead he made his way to the cafeteria.

He hummed quietly as he stood in line, bored eyes staring at the front as he waited to get his food. "At least it's going faster than usual." He chuckled, grabbing a tray once he reached the front and piled on what food was being served. Once he got his food and glanced around to find a table. He had to change his seat everyday due to people always grabbing the seats, but he noticed one table in particular. With a sheepish smile he made his way to the empty table where Lewanna sat, but avoided sitting near as. He instead chose to sit farther down the table, plopping down on the seat before he began to eat.

Lewanna sat gently at the table, opening her lunchbox and pulling out a ham and cheese sandwich and a bottle of water. She closed it before she heard someone walking towards her. She assumed it was one of the jocks, attempting to sit next to her, or get her to come over to their table. She was pleasantly surprised when it was the kid from her art class. She slipped her smile back on when he sat down, though she appreciated it want right next to her. "Hello." She said politely. She bit into her sandwich keeping the side of her eye on the boy though. She took a good look at him. She noted his spiked black hair and deep sable brown eyes. She noted how he didn't flaunt it, but it looked like he had quite the athletic build, and about her height.

She returned to eating her food, still watching him out of the corner of her eye. She looked up from her food gently, deciding to be kind, unlike her reputation. "The names Lewanna. And you are?" She inquired lightly, a friendly smile on her face as she looked at him, waiting patiently for his response.

(Sorry about the length. XD. Couldn't think of much to write. ^^; )
