I was thinking that if a lion has an adult mutation, then it would begin to show during the adol stage. Like, if a lion has the overgrown fur mutation, then maybe they're adol image would show them with some extra fur. Maybe some tufts growing on the elbows or head or just noticeably longer fur (since we already have tuft decors)

I like the idea, but it might take a little surprise out of "Adult Mutation" Since based on what changed you would know. (Fur = fur mutation, teeth = OG teeth, claws = OG claws) or (Fur = fur mutation, no fur = non-fur mutation). Although it wouldn't alter the surprise too much depending on if you want each mutation to have a different amount of fur. (Ex: Shaggy mutation having a lot of neck fluff & Silky having a lot of elbow/ankle fur instead)

But other than the "Surprise" factor it's a nice idea.
