1. I understand breeding for base colors but how does breeding for stats work? Is it an average of what the parents have at the time the breeding takes place? 2. Do stats matter when it comes to females when it comes to hunting or does it only matter when breeding? 3. Will having a higher stat king make exploring easier? With my starter king, I'm winning only about a fourth of the time. I don't expect to always win nor do I want it to not have any challenge at all but not feeling like I have to stick to lower level areas or constantly skip certain NPCs would be nice.  0 players like this post! So i have been breeding for stats since i restarted the game back in April. 1. I am unsure how stat breeding actually works. Seeing as lioden won't let us know the formula to calculate stats. 2. When it comes to females, i have not noticed any difference in high stats or low stats when hunting. However when your breeding a females stats are always good to have. 3. A higher stat king some times wins but not always. I have a high stat male on this account and have had a good time beating NPCs. Also it comes in handy when you put your stud up for breeding. Others might have a better idea than i do. Remember these though Females gain stats from hunting, kings gain stats from levels and if your a dreamboat then you gain a stat from that as well. Sub males gain stats (sometimes) from patrolling. 0 players like this post! Like? |

1. When it comes to breeding for stats it gets complicated. Cubs get around 12% of sum of parents stats minus skill. All at the time when the girl gets pregnant. This thread does have the rough calculator for cub stats :3 2. Skill stat does matter, as it indicates the fail/success on hunt, which is basically if the girl will bring the prey or not. 3. Higher stats for king make explore and fighting a bit easier, but NPC fights need also strategy and usage of moves that are more effective against that NPC. High stats also may help with getting stud requests. 0 players like this post! Like? |
