So, about the passing of markings, let's say I want to breed two lions.
If I have 5 markings I want from the male, and 1 marking I want from the female, assuming they're all in different slots so there will be no issues with them overlapping and canceling the other out, there's a chance they'll all pass onto the cub, correct?

A very low chance, but still a chance at that?
