It's flavor text. It has to do with the lioness's personality. Every time you click on a lion's page there is a chance you'll see a text box. The cub text boxes are the cutest. It's just to add some fun to the game.

__________ just woke you up from sleeping. Again. For more water. And they have to pee. But it's dark. Ugh.

They're fun. The cub ones I don't think have too much to do with personality, but with adols and adults they do. Evil/Snarky lionesses usually have grumpy comments, good/kind lionesses have much nicer comments.
