This is a thread for everyone to suggest future Grandpaw flavour texts! There are three categories for flavour texts:
- Pep Talk: displays during Cub Training
- Interaction: displays on a Cub's page
- Story: displays on a Grandpaw's page

Please specify whether your flavour text is a Pep Talk, Interaction, or Story, and what personality you are making the suggestion for! You all are welcome to post as many flavour text suggestions you like here - even seasonal, event-specific ones for a future update!

Here's an example of how we would like them to be formatted.

Pep Talk for Stoic (Neutral)
[CUBNAME] is sniffling and whining about how they weren't so successful during training today. Grandpaw [NAME] says some boring yet strangely inspirational words to the cub about not showing emotion, and to never accept defeat. [CUBNAME] is feeling better and wants to train again!

Pep talk for Fatherly [Kind]:

[CUB NAME] abjectly refuses to do their training! You've given them a stern talking to but he/she just won't budge. You sigh and turn to walk away when [GRANDPAW] gives you a soft smile and a wink, shuffling over to [CUB NAME]. You hear the two gently murmuring to each other for a while, and a few minutes later [CUB NAME] is eagerly back in training! How does [GRANDPAW] do it?!

Pep Talk for Forgiving (Good)

[Cub name] has isolated themselves from the other cubs after accidentally hurting another cub during a play fight. [Grandpaw] nuzzles [Cub name] and tells them that they shouldn’t worry about it. No one’s angry at him anymore afterall.

Interaction for Vicious (Evil)

Grandpaw (NAME) saw (CUB NAME) wrestle with a big log he was playing with. Grandpaw (NAME) clicks his tongue and struts over before telling the cub that his how you did it, proceeding to bite and claw at the wooden thing. By the end of him 'wrestling' with the log, the poor thing is terrified on how his grandpaw had torn the toy.

Pep Talk for Hyperactive (Snarky)
After falling off the tree climbing training, [CUBNAME] sits around, moping. Grandpaw [NAME] sees, them, scoops them up, and carries them to the top himself! [CUBNAME] seems a little startled, but at least they're at the top now!

Pep Talk for Vicious (Evil)
When he sees [CUBNAME] lose in a wrestling match, Grandpaw [NAME] invites them to a one-on-one training session. When you see [CUBNAME] again, they have a few scratches, and they don't talk for the rest of the day.

Story for Heartless (Evil)
A few cubs ask Grandpaw [NAME] for a story. He gives an uncomfortably detailed tale about how when he was king, he would kill cubs who weren't pretty or strong enough to be of his blood. He catches your gaze as he tells his story, and makes a comment on how you were almost one of them. You spent the rest of the day just as quiet as the cubs.

Story for Chivalrous (Good) Only Shows up During Aphrodasia
You return to your den after another failed flirting attempt, and you find that Grandpaw [NAME] is there. Noticing your downtrodden expression, he gives you a few tips!

Interaction for Forgiving (Good)
You hear giggling and turn the corner to find that [CUBNAME] is smearing Grandpaw [NAME]'s face with mud while he's taking a nap! [CUBNAME] notices you and makes a "shhh" gesture with their paws and continues working. You're about to step in when you see Grandpaw [NAME] wink at you. Oh.

Interaction for Heartless (Evil)
You told Grandpaw [NAME], for the thousandth time, to stop scaring the cubs all the time, and that he should apologize to at least one of them. He grumbles to himself and marches off. Later, you come across a very confused [CUBNAME] holding a wreath made of... aardwolf tails? You ask where they got it from. Apparently, morbid gifts is Grandpaw [NAME]'s way of saying sorry. Its a start.

Story for Loner (Neutral)
A few cubs gather and ask Grandpaw [NAME] for a story. He glances around, then yells "Look out! Hyenas!" While the cubs panic, Grandpaw [NAME] sneaks away. You'll make sure to tell him off for scaring them so badly later.

Pep Talk for Protective (Good)
[CUBNAME] didn't do very well during training today, and some of their older siblings are laughing at them. Grandpaw [NAME] comes over, and gives them the most unsettling glare you've ever seen, while somehow maintaining a cheerful smile the entire time. The adolescents run off, tail between their legs. [CUBNAME] thanks Grandpaw and runs up to you, saying they're ready to train again!

Pep Talk for Humble (Good)
[CUBNAME] has been sitting around, moping over failing at training. Grandpaw [NAME] takes them aside and tells them that even a great king messes up sometimes, and it's learning from your mistakes that really matters.

Interaction for Hyperactive (Snarky)
Grandpaw [NAME] notices [CUBNAME] watching a meerkat peaking out of it's burrow. He dashes over and catches it for [CUBNAME], and the two of them enjoy a snack together.

Story for Self-Absorbed (Evil)
You hear the familiar self-absorbed stories of Grandpaw [NAME], so you go to see how the story's going. All of the cubs around him have already dozed off, but it seems Grandpaw is too preoccupied to notice. You shake your head. You almost want to go and tell him to stop, but you know it won't help.

[CUBNAME] has been mirroring Grandpaw [NAME] around all day. The way he walks, he talks, even the way he grooms his mane, which is impressive since [CUBNAME] doesn't have one. But Grandpaw doesn't seem to mind.

Interaction for Hyperactive (Snarky)
Your heart stops for a moment when you hear [CUBNAME] screaming. You run to see what's going on, and you find [CUBNAME] riding on Grandpaw [NAME]'s back as he gallops around. Both of them seem to be having fun, at least.

Pep talk for Protective (Good) [wrestling] (probably would fit better if the cub had a kind or good personality- I feel like a cub with a snarky or evil personality would just beat them up lmao)

[CUBNAME] was doing pretty bad at wrestling, and couldn’t seem to dodge or get any good blows out. You were watching with slight disappointment when you noticed that [CUBNAME] was bleeding! Before you could interrupt the fight, grandpaw [NAME] jumped in, shielding poor [CUBNAME] and scolding the other cub for being so rough.

Pep Talk for Humble (Good)
[CUB NAME] was upset after tripping during their training session. Grandpaw [NAME] tells an even more embarrassing story, and the cub is laughing so hard, they forgot all about their failed training!

Pep Talk for Heartless (Evil)
After failing training, you see Grandpaw [NAME] helping [CUB NAME] practice their fighting skills. Aww, the old man's softened up. Wait, is that a baby deer they're clawing?

Story for Even-Tempered (Neutral)
Grandpaw [NAME] is telling the story of how he found a trespassing lion on his territory. The cubs seem excited, until they realize there's no fighting in this story, only Grandpaw trying to sort it out quietly so he would leave. Aww.

Story for Mysterious (Neutral)
After Grandpaw [NAME]'s story, you see the cubs gathering in groups and trying to decode his riddles. You don't understand why he can't just make it straightforward for the little ones, but they seem to be entertained for now

Interaction for Hyperactive (Snarky)
Grandpaw [NAME] has been tussling playfully with [CUB] for hours! He even runs in a circle every few moves before attacking again. You almost forgot he was older than you.

Interaction for Protective [Good]
While one of your broodmothers was sick, Grandpaw [NAME] has been watching [CUB]. Watching, as in not letting the poor cub even move from its spot. Maybe you should've just had someone else watch them......

Both are for Stories!

I got one for any Protective personality Grandpaws' during the rainy seasons!

When you return home from patrol, soaked from the rain, you find [GRANDPAW] under an overhanging rock. Around him are cubs fast asleep. It appears [GRANDPAW] wanted to keep the cubs safe from the rain. Aaaw, what a sweetheart!

On the other end, thought...say..a Heartless Grandpaw?

[GRANDPAW] had to be calmed down after yelling at the [CUBNAME] for soaking his nesting. The little cub is now wide eyed and shivering in the rain. Heartless old lion.

Turns out, [GRANDPAW] already came to them and now asks [CUBNAME] what happened, did they get hurt, and if yes, who hurt them, is everything okay, are they safe now, where have they been... Now you feel guilty for not caring for your cubs as much as [GRANDPAW].

story for Self-Absorbed (Evil)

You were looking for [GRANDPAW] all morning! Turns out, he came to the nearest river to admire his perfect reflection. Oh well, some things never change.

interaction for Forgiving (Good)/Patient (Kind)

You see [GRANDPAW] playing with cubs, as suddenly [CUBNAME] fiercely bites his tail! [GRANDPAW] doesn't get angry, he instead nuzzles cub's head and proceeds to play with [CUBNAME].
