I was just wandering around the Lioden theories and stumbled upon a thread about the 10% vs 5% energy loss for battle wins/losses and it mentioned that the reason why there is a 10% energy loss is because 5% went into winning the battle and another 5% went into the victory dance.

It makes sense, too-- after all, "exhausted and close to death, you use the last of your energy to flee the battle" seems like it would take more energy than winning the battle would, so the roles should really be reversed, but that would go against the original reason why there is a 10% energy loss for winning and only 5% energy loss for losing which I'm guesing is so that people can't battle too many times in explore.

To make this strange energy difference make sense, I propose a quick alteration to the "battle won" text: '(enemy fleeing battle goes here) You win the battle, losing only 5% energy because it was so easy. However, you can't resist-- you do a little victory dance. -5% energy. (SB won, experience, etc. goes here)'

Tell me what you think of this idea-- what do you like or not like about it? Is there anything that needs modification? Please make sure to tell me what you like or don't like about it.

It seems simple, yet cute! I like how it's not a necessity, but -- rather -- a nice little addition that makes it make more sense why you lose so much more energy winning than losing, even though you tried just as hard winning as you did losing. Support!
