So while watching BBC in the wee hours of the morning, David Attenborough brought up a legend of a rock formation in Africa that's so high, the vultures that live there fly high enough to see the future (I'll have the name of the place later, I have to figure out which episode it was from).

The August event has some pretty apocalyptic stuff going on: droughts, fires, things dropping dead, and vultures.

For that event, I think it'd be neat to have a storyline about a visiting Vulture from that region named Ikusasa. This vulture is gifted with the ability to see the future, and has a flare for the dramatics of fortune telling, and spends the entire event preaching about a prophecy of the world ending this month. The other vultures think he's insane.

Unbeknownst to your lion, his abilities aren't as incredible as he says they are, and you spend the entire month doing ridiculous quests for him that seem to have no real meaning or make any sense. Maybe his doomsday prophecy will come true, or maybe he'll just predict something as simple as your lion stepping on a thorn.
