I know we do not have all the information for the ending of the June storyline, but hear this:

Bast and Anubis can be heard speaking about eachother after you finish their quests, seeing if them can see eachother once again after the winning of the serpent war. They speak fondly and longingly of eachother, as if two lovers separated forever.. because they are. But what if that can be changed?
At the end of the storyline, if you chose either Anubis or Bast, you will have a chance to take your god to their forgotten lover, light their tomb, and reunite the lovers at last. It would require a few pages to awaken the god, and perhaps the desperate god that you chose gives some of their energy to the other to wake them faster. The newly woken god will be stiff, but have the same body that, if you chose them as your main god, they would take over. (Bast would become lion, or Anubis would become that wolf/jackal thing)
They would thank you for reuniting them, and perhaps you'd get a decor called "Reunited Lovers" or something like such.




Suggestion: It could also be all 3 uniting, because Anubis is Seth's son after all. He cOULD BE SHOWING HIS WIFE TO HIS DADDY YO.

EDIT: Xylax has commented that this is an idea for the upcoming June events, but most likely not this year.
