Okay this is my first suggestion so please don't murder me if it's not completely good idea.  But being my bored self I was going through my lionesses and placing some backgrounds onto them, then I got to a lioness that has 2 newborn cubs, she had a background however her cubs have the default background. To me that doesn't make a lot of scene, if they are in her picture why is her background not theirs? So why not have cubs that are under 5 (?) months and still with their mother have their mothers background. The background could only have 1 use left on it so if removed it would be destroyed and not a way for players to farm backgrounds. This also allows players that want to decorate their cubs to remove the old background and place a new one on it. The background will be removed when the cubs are older than 5 months or abandoned and be replaced with the default. It's a small change but I think it would make the game better and I know it would stop the urge for me to rip out my eyes when the cubs and mother's backgrounds don't match lol. So if a mother looks like this:  Her cub will look like this:  Edit: So a lot of players are pointing out it would be annoying for players that mass breed cubs, we could have a option in the setting to turn off this function off like with the pregnancy pose. :) |

I like the idea, but with it only staying for a short amount of time, is it not a bit pointless? (I don’t mean to sound harsh I just dk how else to word it) Seems like a bit of work for something a little trivial..  0 players like this post! Like? |

I understood it being a small change and I can’t be completely sure how much work it would be for code to be adjusted but that’s all I’m thinking about really, that the needed effort may be too much for a small adjustment. However I do like the idea, maybe the time length they can have them equipped could be adjusted to the end of their adolescence? So it’s a little more worthwhile. Lil Pika~ uhh this is my first suggestion so I didnt really think about the coding behind it lol, but the idea could be built on Im not saying that how it has to be. When it comes to coding, I haven't seen the code itself but I imagine it's simple enough to tweak since there's already a relation between mother and cubs under 5 (in code) 0 players like this post! Like? |

It's a cute idea, but I think like Lil Pika said, it would be kind of pointless. I don't know, I get what you're saying and I understand the idea behind it, but I'm going to have to say I don't support because a lot of people put backgrounds on their cubs and it would just be a waste of putting the cub's mother's background onto the cub, but then if someone wanted a different background on that cub, we'd have to remove the background already on there and put on the new background - and we'd have to do this for ALL of the cubs we want a different background for. While that might not be too much work, it would be tedious for multiple cubs, so I mean. I don't know, maybe I sound stupid and petty.  And maybe the coders could just simply code in a background for the cub and not have the background listed into the decor, who knows? 0 players like this post! Like? |

I don't think it should have any uses - it would make sense just to show as the mom's background while they're nursing and then switch to the default when they wean. If they got a 1 use background then the value of rare ones would go down since you wouldn't need to buy as many - even if they stay on the cub they came on, if you get a pretty cub and you're selling it with a rare item equipped, it's worth even more. IDK if that was articulated well but basically I'd like it as a temporary cosmetic thing only. Like the cub images on the mom aren't a decor, they just stay there until the cubs wean. 0 players like this post! Like? |

flyteck~ I don't really know what the coding behind it would be but either way the background would not be able to be taken off to keep. It doesnt really matter is it counts as decor or not, just that it is able to be taken off if the player wants it too :) Eli~ Thank you, I was thinking the same. Mintnose~ If you think about it a lot of things in the game could be thought of as pointless, but it just gives a nice detail to the game. I just think it should be taken off automatically after five months. Lets say I have a lioness who looks good with a really expensive background, and all of her cubs (who look like her) look nice on it too. If they're born with it, then I never have to buy that background for those cubs, and then the value will drop since there's less demand for it. I'm not sure if it would have a huge impact or not, but I don't think cubs should come with backgrounds personally. It not being sellable is for sure a requirement, but I'm not sure how I feel about it staying beyond when the cubs are weaned (which is what I think you were saying it would do, correct?) 0 players like this post! I'd support if this was a togglable option, rather than having to remove the background from every cub 5 months and under if I didn't want it to have the mother's background. :P Could just make it temporarily replace the default background while they are 5 months and under rather than being an equipped background with 0 uses left. I see both points of it being pointless but helpful. honestly I don't care how pointless it may seem. I honestly get so irritated when my lioness has one background but my cubs don't have hers. I end up forcing myself to remove the back ground the mother has just to keep myself sane. so I support this fully 0 players like this post! Like? |
