This is quite the change of order compared to our normal schedule due to IRL matters. I covered this Friday with a quick art update - unfortunately I had no time to work on mutie file updates, but hopefully it may bring you joy that they'll be my only work for a long while going forward!

A new RR level, "Woodland", is now available for everyone! It's paired with a Gaboon Viper skin, for those with brave, special eyes.

Bi, known also as Raphionacme burkei, is a Water Root plant. You can craft it from 15x Water Roots. It's the perfect solution for any leftover items after the Droughts end.

Kimanjano Mottled Vents is a new marking shape, introduced today via a craftable applicator. You will need 100x Honey Bush, 20x Dream Root, 20x Uzara, 20x Umganu and 20x Uqume to craft it! It's an inverted Mottled Rosette type of marking, so it comes in a matching Leopon-based colour.

* Calidea dregii is a new Rare Explore beetle that comes in 6 skins!
* Sphodromantis viridis is a new Rare Nemesis, available in the Gorilla Enclave. It also comes in 6 skins!

* Fixed Dirty Fur decor clipping over eyes for poses

* Updated pausing on Fire Escape / Poacher Chase

* Choosing to "Hide Event Activity" will now set your "Thirst" bar properly to 0%, allowing you to battle NPCs if you don't want to participate in the August event

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Announcing a Change Regarding Friday Updates
Starting in September, we’ll be moving to a single monthly site development update alongside the usual event updates that occur at the start of the month. Expect these site development updates to occur on the second Friday of each month. Once the site development update has been announced, for the remainder of the month, there will still be a news post every Friday to announce the raffle lioness winners, new polls, and little comic doodles. Additionally, we’ll be adding weekly rare item raffles hosted by our team to make sure you all still look forward to every Friday! :D We’ll also be including lists of any potential bug fixes and adjustments that may have occurred during that week.

To sum it up:
* Every first day of the month, there will be an event news update which includes new monthly changes, event mechanics, and so on.
* On the second Friday of each month, there will be a site development update. It will include both art and coding updates at once, giving us more time and space to work on bigger projects, such as expanding explore.
* Every other Friday will have a smaller, community-oriented news post.

False Advertisement Clarification
In light of the introduction of the “Double Uterus” mutation, we would like to remind everyone of our rules regarding “false advertising” and “scamming”, as well as how the Lion Scrotum item functions. Lion Scrotums have a 25% chance per cub to pass on the mother’s mutation to said cub.
There is no guarantee that using a Lion Scrotum on a Double Uterus lioness will result in her birthing a Double Uterus cub; just because the Falcon’s Eye informs you that the cub has an adult mutation, that doesn’t mean it’s *guaranteed* to be a Double Uterus. There’s still the possibility of the cub being assigned a random adult mutation. With that being said, we understand players are eager to sell their Double Uterus offspring.
Please remember that advertising an adolescent or cub as a “guaranteed Double Uterus lioness” is technically against our rules - you cannot guarantee the mutation did indeed pass even with the use of a Lion Scrotum, unless the lion in question has aged up to adult.
We are content with players advertising them as a “potential Double Uterus lioness”, so long as any potential buyers are aware that if the lion turns out to have a mutation other than Double Uterus, they cannot have their purchase refunded, nor can they report the seller for scamming/false advertising.

Trainee Moderator Announcement
First off, we would like to thank all of you that have submitted applications since the opening of our permanent moderator applications! We have been carefully observing and going over every submission, and are happy to announce we have added on a group of new moderators that we will be training for the next month or so - don’t be surprised to see some new green paws around the site!

If you have applied, and your application was rejected, we hope that this does not deter you from applying again in the future. Everyone is welcome to submit an application every two months, so long as you do not have one currently pending review.

Lion Page Discussion Topic
Some of you may remember that earlier in the year, we had a developer stream in which we asked the userbase what aspects of the site they would like to have updated for convenience. One of these adjustments included an update to the “Lion Page” to make it more user-friendly and condensed. We would be extremely grateful to gather your feedback and opinions on the current mockup, as well as any tweaks, necessary changes, etc. that you feel the page needs in order to be more streamlined and easier to access.
