So, I'm one of those players who does care about where my king's karma is at. This August, we can open and close the Preserver and Destroyer shop as we want on a personal level, rather than as a community. However, the event encounters that give you Good points also give you good karma; likewise, Evil points-encounters give you evil karma. This poses a problem for players like me, who want to keep their karma one way or the other. We're never gonna get to open the other shop if we want to preserve our king's karma! And people who choose to stay neutral may never open a shop without sacrificing their neutrality. TLDR: The karma difference should be removed from -- or, at least reduced in -- the equation. Good karma-kings won't have to sacrifice the karma if they want to open the Destroyers shop; evil kings won't have to sacrifice their karma to open the Preservers. People who want to stay neutral can do so while still having a shop open. Why are you 'No Support'-ing? I want to understand. Explain your reasoning. |

Personally I ain't supporting cause... it's kinda the point. if you want to preserve your karma, either go opposite on a second account or if you don't want to, trade for items from one shop to the other shop.   0 players like this post! Like? |

I support, I don't like getting negative Karma, and if you're shooting for a leaderboard score this event can ruin you if you want the bad and good shop open. If you only have one account too, it's not really fair to sacrifice your hard work. Plus doing good Karma actions is something I do without thinking about - even though I want destroyers open and I feel like I'm getting no where with trying to open it  0 players like this post! The entire mechanic is broken if you ask me. Most people dont want to damage their kings karma and then the good shop has arguably better decor, so most people are going for that. THEN there's the fact that you can only have one shop open at a time, which is dumb and frustrating, because then if I want the other shop open I have to get 600 evil points and most people dont feet like doing that. I'll be surprised if the humans killed shop opens at all. This is really poor game design. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I don't support, mainly because it's the whole concept for the Preserver + Destroyer Shop. Plus, I don't get the issue if you want to unlock both shops on one account. If you're an evil karma account, go for the preserver shop first, then work your way back to getting the destroyer shop - which should reduce the amount of good karma you gained and vice versa. Although, I understand this takes a considerable amount of time, 600 points and all. However, I do think it'd simply be easier to have the community unlock the shops as a whole, as good kings can unlock the preserver shop and bad kings the other. 0 players like this post! I totally understand that some people can't use their side accounts because they use them as storage or frozen accounts. I also understand that some people don't even want to manage two, but I didn't choose anything because I believe that that's what Lioden kind of wanted. If you change it, people who auction their currency may not be able to rack in as much cash, because I think most of the time, people offer on currency (in August, of course, they can offer on other currency) so that they can spend it on a certain store, the Preservers or the Destroyers. I don't really mind if this does go into play or if it doesn't, but I think that my comment is one reason why people aren't supporting ^^ Good luck with the event! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Not everyone has two accounts. And even so, not everyone uses them. My main acc is frozen because i have several lions im trying to keep young. We're relying on half of the site, probably less than half tbh, to open the shop for us. And there IS no global shop for being good, otherwise we'd have had the damn thing open already. Again, poor game design, no real incentives to open the kill shop. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I'm not sure how this doesn't make sense. With fires and droughts animals get more desperate- do you keep your morals or succumb to survival? Of course this isn't really that hard of an event but the reasoning with the karma stuff makes sense. It's not like you're outright prevented from getting other decor, you can just trade items with other players with other shops open. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I mean from a game mechanic standpoint. How does staff expect us to open one shop when they put all the good stuff in the good shop, then require you to get 600 points to even access the evil shop once you open the good? Not everyone can spare 2 accounts, not everyone is willing to mess up all their Karma, and this mechanic where it takes 300 points to open it but one evil misclick to close it is just dumb. 0 players like this post! Again, pick and choose or trade. And yeah there's good stuff in the good shop but i actually like some of the decors in the other shop and the backgrounds too. Depends what people want. And really... the shops ain't too hard to open. If you're lucky it takes Couple of days to open one, take less then a week and a half to flip the other. Maybe two weeks if you don't explore much. Not to mention alot the "evil" choices kinda has its own payout with hundreds of medium meat chunks and human leg bits day to day, sell at monkey business for some quick Sb so I'm not too sure what the issue is. I support, like me I love having my king in positive karma, but I want to explore both shops. I have lost 100+ karma so far in this event because of The Destroyers' shop, and it's kind of a let down because I spent a lot of explore steps gaining up to where I am currently. Even though you can have a second account, my second account isn't attended for often so the levels are lowers and wonky and it makes it harder for me to do explore steps to gain Evil or Good points. I understand if you can trade for them, but I also am very good at Fire Escape so I earn WAY too many event tokens, and not enough SBs/GBs to spend on the event items. 0 players like this post!
