Name: Kurai Blackthorn (Professor Blackthorn)

Appearance: A tall (6’5) pale skinned man. His cheeks are flushed, making the rest of him look like he has seen a ghost. He has messy ebony, almost black, hair and has a quite few hair strands sticking out while a few other strands of hair cover a bit of his left eye, whenever he tries to move the hair back the hair just goes back to its previous position. He has striking, almost hypnotizing, blue eyes. He has a scar starting at his forehead that curves away from his eyes. He wears a jet black coat that goes all the way to his knees at all times no matter the weather.
Backstory: When he was at the age of 8, he went out into the forest but he was attacked by an unknown pokémon. The pokémon gave him a fast slash on his face before an arcanine hopped in out of nowhere and chased the pokémon away. The arcanine went back to check on him. He formed a special bond with the arcanine that inspired him to become a professor though he never officially caught him until he started his journey.
What are you studying for?: Kurai is studying how much trust we can really put into our pokémon companions, basically, he’s studying the relationship between a trainer and their pokémon. He is also studying how trainers affect their pokémon.
Likes: being in the forest, the rain, his own pokémon, seeing the trainers he helps grow, sleeping when he has no responsibilities

Appearance(pictures are allowed): Rey stands in at 5'4 and as a fit and toned body. Her hair is long and a light pink color, whole her eyes a soft sky blue with some splashes of purple in them. She had three claw marks running from her right jaw line dow to her collar bone. Credit goes to Sayuriiiii

Backstory(Optional): Rey grew up in an orphanage on the wrong side of town. She often got into fights and arguments with the other kids who tried to bully her. One day while walking back home from high school she saw a bunch of kids using their pokemon to beat a charmander. Without hesitation Rey yelled at the people and stood between them and the Charmander. She too took a heavy beating before an older couple yelled at the kids and told them they would call the cops. Despite her own injuries Rey gently picked up the charmander and brought it to the pokemon center to get healed. The pokemon stayed unconscious for several days in which Rey never left it's side. When it finally awoke the first thing it did was scratch Rey leaving her with three gashes along her neck. This didn't scare Rey away and she spent a whole year trying to gain Charmander's trust. Once she did the two were inseparable, Hades never even goes inside his pokeball cause he rather stand by Rey's side.

Dislikes: Getting shock by her jolteon which happens often.

Appearance(pictures are allowed): Zali has pitch black hair with lighter brown roots peeking out from her scalp, and icelike, blue-gray eyes that nearly blend in with the whites of her eyes. She's very pale, which is unusual for someone who hails from the islandic region of Alola, and someone looking at her wouldn't be able to guess it. She's most often seen wearing dark blue jeans, not worn out in the slightest, and a black hoodie, the hood always up and hiding her face. After all, she's fairly certain Team Despair knows she has Palkia, so she needs to blend in with those around her. She has a black bracelet in the style of a Mega Ring on her right wrist, with a Lustrous Orb shard embedded into it, just under the Key Stone. In addition, beneath the hoodie and casual t-shirt beneath it, she has a strange design, similar to Palkia's shoulderplates, tattoo'd (Or is it a birthmark?) on her shoulder.

Backstory(Optional): Zali's cousin was chosen by Reshiram, and was killed for it. So, when she found a Lustrous Orb shard under her pillow one night, just after her tenth birthday and getting her Litten, she was immediately fearful. Her cousin kept her Reshiram with her at all times, and she wasn't about to do the same, and instead, as an agreement with the explosive-tempered Spatial beast, she only calls him if absolutely, crucially necessary*. As in, her own life depends on it. But, as per the rules, for him to be summoned, there must be a space in her party for him, so she only carries five Pokemon. In fear of her and her pokemon's lives, she doesn't acknowledge the shard, embedded into her bracelet along with a Key Stone for her equally-explosive-tempered Lopunny, and if asked, she just says it's an opal for a little extra flair. And, she does have a sixth Pokeball on her belt on the off chance Palkia faces trouble when travelling through dimensions and needs to hide. However, this hasn't happened yet, and she doubts this will happen.
When she found the shard, her Litten, Barong Ket, seemed to notice his new Trainer's sudden anxiety spike. From then on, he'd train in secret, but was pretty quickly caught when he came home one night as a newly-evolved Torracat. With a Pichu riding on his back. And an angry Buneary chasing after them. And so was the story of how she caught most of her Pokemon.
Since then, she's become a formidible trainer, now 20 years of age. Zali has only summoned Palkia once, and that was when her full team was wiped by a large group of Team Despair and were about to kill her and her beloved Pokemon. And, even then, she only used him to open rifts for her to make a quick getaway. However, she has had to lay low since then.

Likes: Hot weather, coffee, fun battles.

Dislikes: Team Despair, being asked about that empty sixth pokeball, talking about legendary pokemon.

Fun fact: Her Mega Ring also functions as a Z-Ring, but she isn't a fan of Z-Moves, so she simply doesn't have any crystals on her Pokemon.

Backstory(Optional):
Isaac has recently left his home to begin his pokemon journey at age 16. A bit older then most, but he wanted to be extra prepared. His life-long fascination was bug-type pokemon and has been around them all his life. He sets out to collect as many as possible and give them the best life he can, especially if that means keeping them out of danger. He prefers not to fight trainers with his pokemon due to a particularly traumatic moment in his life. But he will talk with trainers and help them out when he can.
His magnemite was his first ever pokemon and it has stuck with him all it's life as well. It is very loyal and is the only pokemon Isaac has let battle thus far. mainly because it insists on defending Isaac instead of letting him run away. Their a good little child though and Isaac of course loves it to bits.
