Another "hidden" mutation! Since tigons have been released and male poses are being worked on, I thought it would be nice to have a lower effort mutation. This mutation would be a result of damaged vocal cords.
A mute lion would show little to no changes in their lineart. Possibly a weird looking mouth for the cub stage. Other than that, it would just be a coding mutation. Muteness would not be a lethal mutation, as they just can't talk. Maybe mute lions couldn't hunt or be kinged?

Lion runs up to you, making an odd grunting sound.

Another pridemate seems to have gotten into an argument with lion , who can only express their discontent with strange growls and hisses.

While laying with your pridemates, you notice lion sitting alone, scratching at the dirt. You walk over to him/her and s/he seems pleased. S/he flicks his/her tail to show you his/her drawings.

Lion seems to be telling their pridemates a story using sketches in the dirt.

You notice lion sitting with another pridemate, gesturing with their paws and tail wildly.

Lion is sad that s/he can't make new friends. You hang out with them until they feel better.
