I would like to suggest an addition to our ToS and CoC about CSS that might cause Epilepsy to be triggered. Currently the ToS and CoC only says "Do not use bright or light font colors which do not show up in contrast to the background of the site." This unfortunately only states stuff about font colors and not background CSS that may change colors quickly or have a strobe light affect. For those that don't know what Epilepsy is, it is a neurological disorder that causes seizures in the victim. It can be caused by various things but fast changes in light sources and colors can cause these seizures. It is very common, the fourth most common neurological disorder, 50 million people worldwide can have it. You might not have this problem but there are many users in this game that do, I would like you to think about them and not just your own personal experiences before supporting or not! Supported!  Would love this to be implemented as there's currently no way to warn any users about a potentially harmful CSS and those that are unaware could easily be affected just by clicking someone's den page. The only way to avoid this now is to disable the option to view any CSS, but that's not really fun for people that like to see the creative ways people like to decorate their dens.  0 players like this post! Thank you for speaking up about it <3 I appreciate you coming forth, I think it helps people realize how many people actually have this and how it affects them. Den CSS is nice and all but sometimes their backgrounds and colors affect users and it could potentially hurt some. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I support because my eyes are very sensitive to bright colors (alot of the CSS themes sadly) and whenever im not wearing glasses and playing on lioden on phone, im looking at those colors directly, especially if I click on a user themself instead of whatever link they sent, so i'm forced to look at those colors while being hurt. 0 players like this post! Unfortunately this suggestion is made to prevent CSS backgrounds that change vibrant colors quickly, or have strobe light affects. Bright backgrounds don't trigger seizures I don't think (correct me if I'm wrong), it's only the quick shifting of colors. :( You might want to make another suggestion if you want to prevent bright colors in CSS in general. 0 players like this post!
