With the new chatbox, Clan chat was removed in favor of Help chat. I understand that Clan chat was always a bit slow, but at least there was a way to advertise for your clan. I know I'd still scroll down through old ads of clans even if they were posted a long time ago. As it is now, there is not way to advertise your clan. Posting a thread in Clan Chatter forums, gets buried since ALL clan threads are stuck in one subforum intsead of having multiple Clan forums. Another suggestion I'd have would be to create a separate Clan Forum, with subforums such as "advertising", so clans could have a thread in the main forum for just their regular official thread, and another thread in the subforum for recruitment, eg: Main Clan Forum -- for Official clan threads Adversiting Clan Subforum -- for recruitment Clan Free-For-All Subforum -- for extra clan threads I think Clans are an integral part of Lioden life, and seeing them get a bit more focus would be great. That and it's impossible to sort through clans using keywords, therefore clan chat was essential for getting the word out. Big Support  0 players like this post! Like? |

In advance, I apologise for swearing. Seriously, it is stupid that you can't advertise clans anymore, no one is gonna go through the forums or mass amount of clans just to see if there's something they're looking for. Help chat isn't used often, as everyone asks question in the main chat, which isn't channel misuse even thought here is a channel dedicated to helping you; so why the hell are they accepting it? Because helping and answering/asking questions isn't a big deal. So why can't we advertise clans anywhere? No idea, it seems pointless to have clans at this point if we can't even try to make it fucking grow. So what needs to happen? Clan chat comes back, or we get to advertise in main. At this point in time, we need to be able to advertise our threads, especially if they're ones that try to help the community. Hell, we can't even advertise the threads associated with the darn things because it moves to Clans & Families. And also, were we ever given a reason for why we can't advertise threads??? Please show me if we did because anything i come up with sounds like an absurd reason; hell, there isn't any. 0 players like this post! Like? |
