Hey there.
I'm Em and I'm looking for new role play partners. I am coming out of a fairly long stretch of time where I role played with someone who turned out to be... not so great. So, while I don't miss them, I definitely miss role play in general. Anyway. Feel free to browse what I have to offer :>

First, a little bit about me. I'm 26 and live in the states (EST/GMT -5). I work during the week, but I have time to role play almost every day. I also prefer to use discord or private messages for role play as I don't like the idea of people who aren't involved in the rp being able to read it. I'm also not great at writing things like these so please feel free to message me or comment here if you're at all interested. It's way easier for me to sort these things out via conversations. Also, please do not contact me if you are not 18+. As I said earlier I am 26 and I don't want to risk anything by being involved with a minor.

General RP Guidelines:
-I prefer MxM rp. I will generally only play male characters. However, there can be female side characters involved in the story.
-I am looking for literate/semi-literate partners. For me this means decent grammar, posts at least 4-6 sentences, and no "text speak" unless situationally appropriate.
-I enjoy long lasting storylines and prefer them over one-offs. I really like when they focus on the development and struggles of a relationship between two main characters.
-I also usually play as trans/queer Male characters, so please keep this in mind.
-I really love romance, fluff, and slice of live. I would love to have these elements mixed in to a larger adventure/story.
-Another favorite theme of mine is "forbidden" romance. This is usually two characters who have a relationship that is somehow taboo in their setting.
-I also like to have difficult subjects mixed in to stories. Life isn't perfect all the time, not even in fantasy worlds. So if you are interested, please let me know what you will/won't do and if you have any triggers I should avoid.
-I prefer to rp in third person, with narrative text in past tense and speech in quotations. However, I can adapt my grammatical structure to my partner's preferences.

-I will NOT tolerate my partner taking control of my character or writing for my character. It's my biggest pet peeve.
-Again, I like some level of romance involved in my role plays. I will NOT rp with partners under 18.
-I also have no interest in role-playing things that are animal only, such as warrior cats. I prefer humans and humanoids only. With that being said, I do not mind humanoids with animal features or magical beings who could shapeshift, for example.
