My second CD got rejected, mainly for anatomy issues. I'd appreciate some feedback on my updated work before going any further.

The rejected decor:

anything will help! also if i seem to be in the wrong board, i'd appreciate direction to the correct one.

I don’t draw reptiles and am a novice overall, so I’m probably only good for a fresh eye, but I’m armed with google images and going to try my best

I would say your second attempt is looking much better - you’ve got the head shape down and the arms are more fitting. What jumps out to me though are the two middle crocodiles. The perspective on the head of the one in front seems a little off — I think the eyes are too close together (actually, I think the spines the whole way down could be wider) and the left one is too visible, as well as the angle where the head connects to the neck seeming a bit steep. I also think the back leg of the one in front is a little too short.

The pose of the middle one seems off to me — that is one crocodile curled around so that the tail is in front of and below its head, right? In the pictures I saw, crocodiles tend to have their body relatively straight with the tail curving the most, your guy appears to twist evenly all the way around. I think the slope of the back into the neck starts too far down the body or is too steep, but I couldn’t find a good reference for that one.

I wish you the best going forward! Also hopefully a more experienced artist comes along to give you some feedback :)

Just taking a little gaze, the one in the back with his tail wrapped around just seems a little long to me compared to the others. Maybe work on him a little? I definitely hope this gets accepted, I'd love to buy one.

edit: I realized i may have gotten two tails confused. Maybe make them a little easier to follow? :)

Looks great! I love the heads~
The legs, especially the ones in the front and far left, look a little thin. Give them some bulk and webbing between the toes!

I dont have time for all of them, but here are some redlines of what i noticed :o If you want me to do the others as well, lmk!

I find the head scutes to be very important to the look of a crocodile. Everything about the stance of a croc's legs is to support the massive body, so legs are turned outwards and try to stay directly underneath the body. I shortened the neck on the walking one but I shortened it too much so you can ignore that part :V They don't really have the muscles to only lower their head(they'll lower their whole torso/body), so try to keep the general gesture/flow in the same direction!

Overall, the revision seems pretty good to me! The only thing I notice is that the leg that's showing on the far right crocodile doesn't seem to be supporting the weight of the body, unless the ground is uneven right there I think it should be positioned slightly in front of it's body to show that it's stable.
