You can make a submale your king at any age - right up until they die. Submales can die from 15 years old (same as lionesses), so you don't want to risk them dying by keeping heirs older than that before kinging. Right up until 14 years 11 months is fine though, if you want to really maximise their stats from patrolling or whatever. If your sub is older than 10 (i.e. 10 years 1 month and above) he will be automatically aged back down to 8 years old when kinged, so you still get plenty of time with them as king :) 0 players like this post!
