So I want a whole pride of pink-soft pastel colored lions and I figure the first step is a cherry blossom girl! I want to know how to breed it, because I don’t want to wait until February. Can I just stud to a cherry blossom stud and hope for the best? Or is there easier ways?

Cherry blossom requires at least one parent to be Cherry Blossom themself in order to have a chance of passing on to cubs. The best chance of all is both parents to be Cherry, but since that often isn’t practical the next best thing is to match up genetics as closely as possible for the second non-Cherry parent.

In this case, Cherry Blossom is Cream Light Countershaded - so your best odds are other uncommon/rare/special bases in that same category. According to the genetics chart that includes Buff, Ivory, Ethereal and Nautilus. If you don’t have those, the closer to them genetics-wise the better your chances. If your lion's genetics are completely different (eg Red Dark Solid or whatever) it just increases the number of bases it’s possible for the parents to produce, so it considerably reduces the chances of getting the specific one you want. Still possible, but much less likely :)

I have bred a cherry blossom before. I was lucky, my king is a cherry blossom. I bred sorrel and cherry blossom at that time. But it’s very rare to get one with a sorrel.

Just get a lion that has the same genetics as the cherry blossom and breed them. And hope for the luck.
