This is a lineart based game, meaning you have to buy your species lineart to begin play (500sb)
As your species evolves and gains additional changes, it costs 100sb each to upgrade each time. Once you receive your lineart, its yours to create characters with! In addition, there is a shop thread, link at the bottom

Multiple people can be the god of one species
You play by spreading your essence through a 'vessel'. Every time your vessel croaks of a reason other than old age, the Species Survival bar goes down by1%. IF it reaches 0, thats extinction for the species. You can play again, but that species is gone forever. If there are multiple people playing a species, theres 100 percent per person playing.
If you die you must wait until the species spawn(which will be a post) until you play again.

there are 2 main parts to this: The overworld (where you hunt, survive, don't die etc) and the evo checkpoint. Evolution points are gained when your vessel carries on the next generation successfully(meaning at least one child survived to adulthood).
How much evo points are gained depend on the species. For species where the males mate with several females, 20 evo point is gained per child that survives. For monogamous species, they gain the usual 50. Females gain 50 each regardless of species. These numbers are, of course, subject to change!
Each stat maxes out at 5,000 (number subject to change!) The stats are Intelligence(governs ability to gain sentience, figure things out, escape/avoid traps, crack armor etc) Power(governs how hard they hit, naturally) Defense(which is basically armor) Mobility(how fast they can move)HP (how many hits they can take, w/o armor, and stealth (governs how well they can evade detection).

In addition to adding to your stats at the evo checkpoint, you can also invest in some fancy-pants abilities, via the use of skill trees! Skill trees are not hard-set. If you want a certain ability, just post it, and I or a mod will work out a skill-tree for it. Each skill in the skill-tree will cost more and more points, until they reach the final skill.

Food, water, and other essentials
Food is a thing. Each species gains different amounts of hunger and thirst per RO. Either bar reaches 0? Your vessel dies. That being said, you will only accrue hunger and thirst on days that you post, so if you need to take a break, don't worry about your vessel~
