This is for the interstellar quest from the demiurge and for any future quests regarding the visiting of other dens.

Basically, the task of visiting 500 player dens is incredibly tedious but i understand that it's part of a quest that's supposed to take a lot of time. What really bothers me (and i've seen other players complain about as well) is the fact that we need to click TWICE on the "spread the word" button.

Now I would be okay with fixing this error/bug and only having to click it once but for everyone's convenience and to make this task a little less... terrible, i think it would be great if we only had to visit the dens and not click anything at all.

I honestly personally think they should remove the buttons. It's genuinely the most taxing part of the quest on me.

@dogepauus Exactly It's literally the worst part of the quest and i hate that it shows up MULTIPLE times. I am okay with fighting 100 enemies and giving away cubs, doing enclave stuff. But this one is literally the worst of them all because once you complete it you don't feel accomplished at all for doing so much.

Exactly. it's not a fun and frustrating challenge... it's just frustrating. i never feel satisfied after, like i just did some big gameplay thing... i am going to be bitterly honest and say that it's the worst padding for a quest i've ever seen on a game, and that the fact that it's broken is a spit to the face. it took me weeks to do simply because i didn't have the energy or patience to go on 250 (and soon 500) pages... click the button... have it NOT LOAD... have to click it AGAIN... and THEN and ONLY THEN can I continue. it's not good game design.

I feel like its supposed to be hard because of what it's for no one ever said it was all fun and sometimes you gotta go through things like that to get what you want.
As for the button having to be clicked twice i guess that's a recent bug cause I went through it clicking once on the button I honestly think just the bug is the problem because I finished them within a couple days and I've seen people do it in one. so I agree the button should be fixed but not taken out.

Not trying to be bitey! It's just that... well... it's a video game. A pet sim with a lot of challenge, but a game nonetheless. And the point of a game is to be rewarding and fun in some way.

fluff (#145767) I agree that it IS a challenge and therefore doesnt necessarily have to be Fun in the literal sense. But most of the other challenges feel rewarding and are part of the natural gameplay (getting cubs, exploring) while this one isn't. It's literally just button clicking after button clicking with no actual feedback from the game (unline explore where you can still find stuff)

not all challenges in video games are fun sometimes there are challenges that just need to be done to progress lol
Plus it really not all that hard without the bug sooooooooooooooooo
its supposed to be rewarding they already said this challenge would push you. But really it kinda was eh to me but not something that took that much. The bug is the only problem I see here.
It's supposed to be work for something rare I'm sure hardcore players enjoy the task more but they never said it was fun and easy
""Journey to the Vredefort Crater" - which begins a very long, exhausting quest to obtain Interstellar Remains item."

Easy, no, but fun? I'm gonna say something that shouldn't be bold: a game is meant to be fun in some way.

Whether you play to gain GB, or to get the perfect lion, or really like exploring, it is supposed to be fun. If we cannot expect the bare minimum of a game - that is, to entertain us by some means - then what is the point?

there are far more reasonable hardships in games, but the point is to feel like you're being rewarded for your tasks. if you want to say that the eventual interstellar base is enough for you, fine. but if I had honestly known it would have been THIS taxing to simply visit dens, I would have spent my time on gaining the GB for energy boosts for the event.

long and exhausting missions in games are good. it's always satisfying to beat the ender dragon, or to finally collect all the rare items, or, in the case of lioden, to breed rare bases and markings and such.

what I am saying is that this is fundamentally bad game design and we should expect MORE from a website many of us spend hours on a day.

I think the button should be removed and i think it's really important to realize that I understand gameplay is not always easy, and that even in this case the ends might justify the means. but not for me and not for, i'm sure, a lot of people.

this is to the point of being unnecessarily hard for literally no reason. there is no gain for anyone to make by it. this is why i'm so insistent about this: yes. it is hard. but what is the purpose in its difficulty other than to take an unnecessary amount of time and energy to complete that could have been focused on more varied and interesting challenges.

I support so much.
Either remove button at all, or at least make it click from the first try when you open multiple tabs. It is hard and boring already having to click so many buttons, but having to click them strictly one by one because in multiple tabs it needs to be clicked twice - that's plain agonising. I have slow internet, it takes me hours of work to open so many pages one-by-one and people's images in dens (often a lot of them) dont help, either.

Once again they never said it'd be all fun. It's supposed to be really hard and for people really dedicated to getting the applicator. You realize how much it's value would go down if it wasn't so hard. It already went down cause the quest exists. If you feel like it's too much of a hassle fine don't do it but some people have got through it quite easy the bug seems to be a problem they will probably fix.

The bug is what's bothering me fluff XD Im perfectly fine clicking all those 500 and more buttons, BUT not fine with it being strictly one page at a time because in multi tabs it will force reload the page before letting you click the button - that's extreme. It essentially demands 1000 button clicks instead of 500.

It might not be a bug, however. It seems like it's checking the counter before clicking the button, and if it have changed since you loaded the page - it reloads the page first. I dont know if it's really a bug or some kind of counter feature. It might be some way of, I dont know, double click prevention, and could be inteneded to work that way - which is why it is being suggested to be reconsidered.

not sure. It didn't act up much for me but then again I finished it awhile ago so I feel like this bug is new cause no one else I knew had a problem with it either when I did it.

Nope, it was definitely there right from the start - I started the quest as soon as it came out, and got to that quest pretty early, still in July. It was that way right from the beginning, and it always acts the same way - IF the counter went up since you loaded the page, clicking the button will first make the page re-load. Like it is first making sure the counter is current before letting you add to it.
