Recently, after having rediscovered the beauty of proper capitalization, I attempted to capitalize the first letter of my queen's nameโonly to discover that the name changer in the Oasis registers the name as already in use, regardless of the letter case. Thus, in order to correct her name, I would have to change it twice, essentially paying double the price for a single alteration. This could easily be remedied by adding case sensitivity to the name changer and/or preventing the uniqueness-checking function from taking into account our lion's current name. Better yet, simply allow us to make capitalization changes for free. |

That's not the intention of this at all; the altered case sensitivity would not allow for two kings with the same name to exist simultaneously, regardless of capitalization. Seems like something that would be rather difficult to code, and you can change your kings name when it retires, and just take that extra 3 seconds to check it over. I'll stay in between for now. 0 players like this post! Like? |

When registering a king's name, the server could reserve that name along with all possible case variations? Thus, whenever you alter the name's capitalization, you're simply switching between options already reserved to your account. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yes, but the server doesnt just do that. Its gotta be written in by the coders, and coding is susceptible to bugs (although unlikely as the coders are good at what they do) but it'll change how it works 0 players like this post! Like? |

I wonder if they'd be able to code it in so that the server deletes your lions old name before attempting to apply the new one? Then you could change the casing in your name without it getting that problem. I'm not sure how it works, and I don't code, so it could be a dumbdumb idea, but it seems like a possible solution. 0 players like this post!
