This suggestion is geared towards the 'tier' function in events in which players have to work for a specific goal to open up newer items that increase in price and value.

It works in concept, but in practice many things happen that make the efficiency of the tier system doubtful in my mind:
-Different amounts of players are online each year, which causes significant work to be done by the admins each year to adjust the tiers. They would be able to save time and stress without this. Also, using this month's example: When adjusting Tier 1, many people shortly had access to Tier 3 and bought Angelic apps before Tier 3 was closed again. They had to be refunded and the apps wiped. Also, players would be much less angry at each other and the site admins this way- picture a mindset of 'can't wait for Tier 1 to open on the 5th!' instead of a mindset of 'Can you guys please hurry up?'.
-Especially in October, players a) don't explore in general, b) have better things to use their energy on than rabid animals (an outdated bar to measure), or c) aren't convinced their efforts are helping at all. Because of this, the tier bars travel too slowly, which is why Tier 1 is still closed as of now on the 11th. One year, in April, players never unlocked the Primordial Spring. This could all be avoided with a simpler, less stressful system that would save the site much work in the long run.

Since now storylines follow calendar dates, it makes the most sense for tiers to do so as well. This would also benefit August's Savage Studs, who should be able to fully cycle once or twice, and July's Celestial Raffle. Generally my pathway would be like this:
-Tier one: 5th or 6th
-Tier two: 14th or 15th
-Tier three: 20th to 24th (for enough buying, stud cycle, ETC time and to coincide with several event storylines finishing)

EDIT: It was pointed out October has four tiers. I'm not exactly sure how to deal with the events that have four tiers yet, but maybe a sorting of 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20-25th?

Each tier would simply have a guaranteed event calendar date to open.

Some might think that this takes away from Lioden's community experience, but I would actually nominate otherwise from what I've seen in main chat about the tiers being slow to open this month. Remember Tigon Hype? The community as a whole was actice, excited, and not under the stress to 'unlock' further tiger dad encounters. At a smaller but still significant rate people could just enjoy the wait rather than believe that we might not get Angelic at all this year. The community could treat Lioden events more like an activity than a job and the admins could enjoy never, ever having to watch the bar ever again.

Not a bad idea especially for events where you are literally split between four currencies like this month. You did forget to factor in T4 though.

Fuckin supported. <3 I bitch way too much about the tiers, but it’s so frustrating to get excited over something, and then be worried we won’t be able ti get the rewards we want for all our hard work.

OH my god I didn't remember Tier 4 was even a thing. I have publicly shamed myself.

Some events just have three, right? That makes this a little bit harder.

I definitely support this - staff is always messing with the numbers and some of the bars (I forget which?) doesn’t show us how many we need to actually unlock the bar. This would make it so staff wouldn’t have to alter the bar (which has caused some issues in the past due to them raising it substantially and us *barely* reaching it days before the event is over) and would give us better guidelines to be able to plan our event currency better!

Now that you say that I'm not sure. You can always have two different time scales based on event that way. Or make the T4 spesifically a bar to fill up that's worked on all month. Since it's usually the special area not more shop. So it's still a community thing? But that does put a bit more on the coders again.

I personally like the community working together but I also have to agree with this especially after the December gifting bar opened all three tiers in the first two days and August is another one it's the event I look forward to the most but I'm always worried the studs won't unlock in time to go through all of them

There could still be some community things like the snowflake challenge

Partial support- maybe there's still the bars so the community works together, but also a calendar date? So if people don't get the first tier open by say the 8th (something late, just in case things are going super slow) it opens automatically, same for the others. Just a second bit of help in case things are going slower than usual. The community unlocks are what get people to participate- they should stay, with the calendar events just as a safety net to make sure everybody gets to see every tier.
