Julia stood in the hallway outside her dorm. She took a deep breath and started to walk away. She smiled and stepped outside. Today was going to be a normal perfect day. Nothing was going to ruin it. She glanced around. No clouds nor rain. “Perfect...” she mumbled.

Harvey was at the Naval base fixing her airplane. She looked at the sky and smiled “the sun feels nice.” She mumbled as she put her wrench in her pocket.

Julia stopped walking and tilted her head. It was quiet. Far too quiet. Something felt off. She glanced around nervously. There barely any people here. A lot less than usually was. She wondered what happened. Did she miss something?

Harvey saw one of her fellow mechanics walking towards her. She smiled “hey there.” He looked different and he smelt quite gross. The zombie she used to call a coworker threw its self onto her, but she kicked him in the stomach. “What the hell has gotten into you?” She ran off into the hanger

Julia heard something drag behind her. She turned around to see what was going on. She screamed and immediately took off running. A zombie had gotten so close to her. She stumbled into the closest building and slammed the door shut.

Harvey was breathing at a rapid pace as she dug through a toolbox, looking for something a bit stronger than a wrench. Soon, she found a hammer “perfect.” She made her way out. Harvey saw several people dead on the ground before she got to her car and put the keys in the ignition

Julia leaned against the wall shaking badly. She had no idea what the hell just happened. She slowly moved down the hallway afraid to run into anymore of the zombies.

Harvey went down the highway. The side she was on was empty, the other side was jammed packed with cars. She was going into the city

Julia stepped outside and grabbed a nearby pole. She knew very well that the things she saw were not human. She didn’t know what she was going to do. She didn’t own a car. She lived close enough to the city that she could just walk. But it was dangerous. The promise of an explanation outweighed the fear coursing through her. She started on her journey into the city.

Harvey got into the city, running over any zombies in her way. She was shaking as she drove down Main Street “shit shit shit.”she thought she was going to die.

Julia didn’t have much trouble getting into the city. She had to bash a couple of zombie’s heads in causing her to get bloody. She eventually made it into the city practically stumbling over herself from fear.

Harvey’s car ran out of gas. She began to cuss up a storm in German as she got out of the car, grabbing a backpack which had snacks and a couple water bottles. She looked around. There were tons of them “god damnit.” Harvey bashed in the heads of at least 10 of them as she walked through the city.

Harvey saw the silhouette of a young woman down the street. She figured it was most likely a zombie so she continued to walk.
