What are the odds of passing a base that is breed-only if both parents have it? Is it the same for combo bases? Does it depend on rarity?

They're all pretty different tbh.

Mandarin and Kimanjano have the lowest passing rates, they're the most difficult to breed, rare enough that I don't know if anyone knows an estimate of their pass percentages.

Combo Bases are easier to breed than Mandarin or Kimanjano, but still pretty difficult to breed for (I have not personally tested their pass rates extensively, but I'd say it's comparable to the Event-Only and Raffle-Exclusive bases as far as pass rates based on what I've observed casually)

Medium bases tend to be about twice as difficult as Light or Dark bases, since they have a 50% fail chance to the Light and Dark groups instead of Medium.

Event-Only and Raffle-Exclusive bases tend to be second or third hardest to breed, with about a 2.5% chance pass rate for the Light and Dark bases, and about a 1.25% chance pass rate for the Medium bases.

If you breed to different color groups (Red, Black, Gold, Cream) or to different shades (Light, Medium, Dark), this lowers your pass chance for the base. It's best to breed in the same color and shade group, as well as the same either Countershaded or Solid group for base passing.

Common bases, uncommon bases, and rare non-event or raffle bases tend to occur much more frequently than the ones I've listed, with rares and uncommons being less difficult than the Event-Only and Raffle-Exclusive but still more rare than the commons.

Applicator bases spring up easier in their color-groups of course, but their pass rate seems to be about 5% from what I've seen myself.

If you need more information about the bases and what helps pass what, the wiki has a lot of information in the Genetics tab.

Thanks for all the info! I also have a more specific question that I couldn’t find on the wiki. Would two Elysians produce Elysian better than an Ice + Divine? Or is it the same percent as long as it could pass the base?

Like I said, I haven't tested combo bases very thoroughly. In theory it could boost your odds a little bit, however I don't breed for them so I'm not sure whether it does in practice. For non-combo bases, if both parents have the base you're trying for, you do get twice the odds of it passing.

Someone who is a dedicated combo breeder would probably be able to answer that more correctly than I can X)

I believe the official pass rare percentage for kiman and Mandarin is .3%
