Is there a way to ping users in Chatter to notify them, or do I have to manually send them a message when they want to be notified for something (like a sale) ?  0 players like this post! Like? |

If someone is interested in updates to your thread, they can click on the "Subscribe" button on the top of your thread, and they will be notified of new replies to your thread until they un-subscribe from it. Otherwise, you can PM people who want to be notified about some selective comments or updates. :) 0 players like this post! Like? |

There isn't a way to ping people-- you'd have to manually pm them. Edit: Whenever someone responds to a thread, anyone subscribed to it will be notified that there has been a new comment but there is no notification system to tell them if they've been "mentioned." 0 players like this post!
