Your quality is very good! For reference, 1 GB = $0.50. I would definitely price them higher than posted, even if they're sketches. Personally, I would price headshots @ 3 or 4 GB minimum, Halfbody @ 5/6, fullbody @ 7/8; all of these could be higher, since I don't know how much time you put into each dimension. I think your style qualifies as "HQ", but if I were you I would get more opinions on this. During February, you can also sell your art for Heart Shells through Buffalo Scrotums, Yohimbe Barks, Lion Scrotums, and those sorts of things when their respective tiers open. They're breeding items which are only available a few times a year, and you can resell them afterwards for a hefty profit. It allows players to easily buy art without having to invest GB, and if you're patient you can get quite a return on it! Most people from what I've seen have priced 10 HS = 1 GB. Def interested in being on your ping list. Taking into account your personal time and how much you need the SB/GB, I do still agree with reevaluating your current prices as they are for sure on the low end and your art would go for more very easily. If it doesn't take you long and you desperately need the currency, you'll fill up FAST with prices as they stand. Otherwise I agree wholeheartedly with the prices that Lifeline suggested if not slightly more.   0 players like this post! Like? |

fellow artist here. to keep it short, you should definitely definitely charge much more. i'm always scared that i charge too much, but my slots always fill up quickly when my shop opens. for reference, i charge about 15-25  per headshot, which imho is still underpricing the amount of time and work put into it. i based my prices off of minimum wage in the united states, which is ~$7.25, or 14.5 , an hour. i spend more than an hour per drawing, so i felt like that was fair pricing considering art is a skill-based service.your art is great, so please please don't underprice yourself. (also do you by any chance do humans too or ... ??) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Those toskal examples make me want to cry and throw all my gb at you! But honestly, I'd say 5GB for Headshot, 8GB for Halfbody and 10GB for Fullbody. Remember, you have to work up a following as an artist, so don't be afraid to grow your prices to match the interest. All artists usually have to underprice themselves before their work begins to sell and gather a following. 0 players like this post! Like? |
