Well, Fox Fallows is a Discord based roleplay group that is currently under construction! We are accepting early applications, and appreciate comments & friendly criticism in the reply section!

The Fallow



Streaking through the woods, you found yourself panting with the energy you had to exert. Wolves.. You thought while rolling your eyes. The mangy mutts, excuse for canines, had been chasing you for sport all morn'. You found yourself physically exhausted to a point where your mind wandered to the thoughts of your end. Would they catch you after all? Were you too tired to put up much a fight for any longer?
Before you could make a decision, the wolves froze at a fox scent line, seemingly.. scared..? What had a fox scent done to scare them? Glancing up the hill towards the treeline, your body froze as well. Not from fear, no, but from pure joy.
Up on the hill there stood a Vixen, canines bared, males and females alike fanning out around her with territorial growls. A fox clan! Maybe today would not be your last after all.
As the wolves ran, you found yourself staring at the alluring Vixen with questions. She shook her head, seemingly peaceful. Maybe, just maybe, you could be a part of this clan too..?

Our Fall & Rise

Our Creation

Unvi was a name feared by all foxes. The ruthless male sought to expand his territory further and further until nothing was left for others. But he soon found he could not accomplish this alone, as mated pairs and families could easily take his single figure. So what was he to do? Stoop as low as wolves and create a pack of his own. He called this pack the Ravagers, recruiting males ready to fight and whatever mate and kin they came with, although begrudgingly. His conquest began, and he set strong borders around an entire forest staked to his claim.
Thankfully, for all of the lone foxes, a pack of wolves moved into the area to deal with the threat of Unvi. They left soon after, having killed the leader, and yet, for some reason, the Ravagers remained as strong as ever. Letting go little territory, the bloodshed continued in the name of Unvi's son, Kupi.
Passed down for generations, the group soon became less hostile and let rouges closer to their borders. Everything seemed peaceful, and living in groups was far easier than their parents and grandparents' lives before.

Our Fall

The group being led by a fox of the name of Henn, the group began to become uneasy as one of their pups in training, Fuchi, seemed to be ruthless. Much like the legends of the first leader of the group, Fuchi seemed to be power hungry and quickly climbed the ranks. Everyone was helpless to this, for what rule did the young one break? What would he be punished for, being excited on his future ranking? Well, they did not come up with anything to do. Thus Fuchi soon became the leader when Henn died from a badger.
Fuchi did not stop for anyone, and was soon training newborn pups to fight. It was completely against the code they lived by. But everyone was too scared to speak up.. Expect one.

Our Rise

An alluring Vixen, Apollo saw the wrongs her father was causing. She stood up against him, ultimately killing the ruthless male to take over the group. She guided the warriors back to a path of a peace at a very very younge age, and still guides us to this day.

Our Ranks

Superior
This rank leads the group residing in the fallows. They are highly respected and rarely challenged. Challenges can be made for this rank, but are rarely won.

Proxy
This rank is second in the clan. They answer only to the Superior and are respected among foxes.

Delta
Lead of hunting, this rank is usually considered third ranking in the clan, as most Proxies go through the rank of Delta before being granted the proxy rank.

Mythic
Healers of the group, the Mythic Ones are believed to be able to learn from the confusing ways of humans and know the extent of herb uses and be trained to heal, not hurt.

Mythic Novice
Just learning as of now, these novices have two mentoring foxes. One in hunting and fighting per self protective reasons, and the other to teach them all they know to one day be able to heal their clan.

Hunter
Following patrols set by Deltas, hunters are tasked with providing food for the clan along with wet moss in the dry season

Guard
Typically on patrols set by higher ranks, Guards are responsible for keeping the clan safe. There are changing shifts as to have the territory covered at all times.

Sycil
Either not wanting to be in fights or kill animals, Sycil are the ones dedicated towards gathering herbs for Mythics and berries for younger foxes and foxes of whom enjoy them.

Novice
Soaking in all the knowledge they can before they turn ten months of age, novices are assigned a mentor to learn all they can from.

Broodmother
Tasked with mothering pups, Broodmothers are either temporary or a constant rank. One can choose to have a broodmother in the den 24/7 to help out with all pups of the clan.

Pups
Tasked with nothing but having fun and fulfilling lives, pups are kept sheltered from predators in the territory until six months of age.

Supine
Submissive animals of the pride that can be claimed. They are the lowest of the pack.

This rank's maximum depends on how many broodmothers/mentors are available. We will not accept an apprentice that does not have a mentor available, nor a kit that can not be adopted/birthed into a broodmother's clutch.

The Underworld



You let a whine escape your maw as three foxes shoved you forwards. They roughly bit and clawed at your flank until you were moving on your own, towards a tall tod with bright crystal eyes.
Only an hour ago you were wandering through the meadow, and now these territorial foxes were shoving you to the dirt in front of their leader.
The intimidating tod leaned down towards you with a smile. "Either you run and hope we don't catch you, or you join. What will it be?"

Our Salvation

Long before the current members were even thought of existing, there ruled a stern tod of whom took the meaning of hostility to heart. When he discovered The Fallow taking over his territory and calling him a hostile entity for not joining them, he was angered. Pushed from his home for not wanting to be in a skulk, he deemed it necessary to one day push The Fallow away. Finding even more foxes that had been pushed from their homes, rising to the challenge of getting their territory back. They formed a group of their own, pleding their lives to The Underworld in hopes the evil spirits would empower them with enough strength for defeating the skulk they now shared a border with.

Despite never being able to arrange an attack on The Fallow, the group did well. But many believed members were getting softer by the day, this including a young fox of whom was frowned upon for seeming to have two different personas. One was happy, glowing, and preferred the nickname 'Halo' over his birth name, Zumali. The other was the completely opposite, loving the darkness in the group and always leaping into the chance at fighting. But with harsh punishment from his mother, soon this Halo was the only persona. Or so it was thought.

Upon his ranking, Zumali snapped. He named himself Hades, after the god of the underworld, and took down both his mother and the former leader of the group. He quickly renamed the group from Spirits to The Underworld.

Our Spirits


King || Queen
Rulers of the skulk, a King or Queen can have a mate at their side to oversee everything with them, becoming the other royal, although this is not needed.

Sargent
Second in command, excluding the King/Queen's mate, the Sargent oversees anything the royal in head assigns to them. This can be anything from hunting patrols to border fighting.

Servants
Humble worshipers of the high ranks, Servants are highly respected as they only answer to the top three personnel. They, much like high ranks, are above others and can easily be stood up with in a fight or prey pick. They are considered the fourth high rank at times due to this.

Cure Fox
Medical professional of the ground, Cure Foxes have the job of making sure those around them stay healthy. Their top priority is making sure high ranks and fighters are in good shape.

Cure Fox Youth
Medical learner of the ground, Cure Fox Youth have the job of making sure those around them stay healthy. Their top priority is making sure to learn all they can before the current Cure Fox dies.

Protector
Fighters of the group, much like they're, their soul job is to protect the Underworld. Broodmothers, High Ranks and Youth are their top focuses.

Commodore
Hunting and gathering for all those around, Commodore are relied on for food for the entire group. Seeing as the Protectors have no time between battles and training to hunt, a failure of a hunt will result in major punishment via high ranks.

Broodmother
Mothers or vixens that wish to stay within the den, these females are to care for any young born or taken into the skulk with all they have. Although heavily protected, if it ever came to it, it is expected that most would give their lives for the Youth.

Youth
The little ones of the group, from the time they open their eyes and are allowed to leave their den, Youth are trained on how to live within the group. They are not allowed outside of camp until they are at least six months old, but they can learn all they can from training sessions within the camp until then.

Matzoh
Weaklings are not permitted within this group. A strong belief that a skulk is as only as strong as it's weakest member, failures are put into this rank of which a monthly competition determines their fate. If they get under a certain score they are kicked out from the skulk, forever.

Events

After high demand, The Underworld has been made into an official section of Fox Fallows. Lore is being typed along with ranking figured out.
