Hi! I have pricing strategies for everything- or everything that I use. Suggestions and tips or opinions are welcomed!

STUD PRICES
I always try to make my stud prices the lowest amount it can be, so I can get more cubs! I'm going to try to reach 100 cubs by the end of Summer. The studding prices are based on however many markings there are on your lion! One markings would be 25SB, as no markings would be 1SB. At the lowest, of course!

OPTION A: if you want a bunch of cubs and lots of buyers, this is the better option. However many markings your king has- multiply it by 25! If your king has five, then it would be 125SB!

OPTION B: if you want more money than cubs, and don't care how much people are buying it, then this is a better option! As option a does, multiply however many markings your king has and multiply it by 25. BUT- if your king as 100-199 stats, add 25SB. 200-299? add 50SB! 300-399? 75! You get the gist. If he has an uncommon base, I would definitely add 25SB, 50SB for rare, 75 for special! If he has any special markings, I'd add 50SB! (Mottled Rosettes would probably be an extra 100SB for me!)

BRANCH PRICES
Now, when I see the crazy ways people price things on their branch, I go nuts! They'll price very simple things you can find in explore at- well, 200SB. This is why I make sure I price my items in the way where simple items are simple prices!

WHAT I DO: go to your hoard, and add all you want to your branch. Write down what you put in your hoard, and go to the Oasis. In the Oasis, you'll find the item catalog tab. Tap it, and search your item. Tap on your item once you find it, and see if there is a set price for it. If it does not sell, then you will go to "[your item] in branches". Choose the cheapest price you can! If people do not buy it, then lower the price everyday it is not bought. If there are no prices on other branches, put what you think it should be! ;)

HEAT PRICES
Same for stud prices!

LION SELLING
A: This is a little similar to heat prices, except option a isn't a thing! do exactly as option b says. If your lion seems a little more worthy than your price, then just consider her looks! If she has anything special, uncommon, rare, then feel free to add a few quarter hundreds of SB!
B: go by market pricing! go to the link at the bottom for more information.
Now, if your lion has a mutation- that's something else. I'd recommend you going to this post! https://www.lioden.com/topic.php?id=304429248959

A LITTLE EXTRA
If you bought items from the monthly event market, and you don't know what to do with it, here's how I would price it!
TIER 1
With tier 1, it will be very simple. If your item originally costed about 20[insert monthly currency], then you would divide that price by two and get 10. That's how much it will sell for.
TIER 2
Tier 2 is different. if your item costs 20 somethings, then divide it in half. You get 10, right? Multiply it by 2. You get 100.
TIER 3
Tier 3 is more expensive, everyone knows. Take your item. If it costs about 20 somethings, divide it in half. You get 10. Multiply it by 100. You get 1,000. For me, 1,000SB equals 1GB, but do it however you please! :)

Hey there! This is a great guide, however the market is oversaturated and ever-changing and it may be easier to price lions by the market going rate, instead of what they are actually worth. I have a guide on how to price check yourself in TC for lions: https://www.lioden.com/topic.php?id=304429338917 that might be a better source on how to price a lion when the market is quite wild and very little lions stay the same prices from week to week

Hi @Scouting for Booty! (nice name-) I agree, pricing by the market is also a good way to go, and I actually used to do it that way! I'll usually use it if I'm unsure about the price of lions- but I mainly posted this thread for myself and my friends so I can make sure that I'm not forgetting what my 'strategy' ( ) is! I love your guide, though, and I'll link it- if you're fine with that- in my thread as another helpful source if people aren't comfortable with my way! :)

Of course feel free! I've just seen too many guides that are like 'this markings costs this much, this base is this much' which was plausible in the past, but with the oversaturation in the market, its always wildly bouncing around because people are trying to sell lions that no longer have as much demand

Yes! I agree, now that there are more mutations, hybrids, especially bases, the prices for the old ones are becoming cheaper.

For studding - I wouldn't really... price it by amount of markings per se, but kind//tier? Studs with breed only marks or rarer markings (ie raffle or event markings) in rare slots should be priced higher than a king with an applicator marking on every slot - ie a quad ros or celestial king's stud price being higher than a king with 10 hyena applicator markings in various colors

I guess it'd depend on the person too, but I usually never bother with studs that only have applicator markings ^^"

But I definitely do agree pricing with the market - look at how others are pricing stuff, and try and follow along :d

@Insyndiar hello! I definitely agree that the stud prices also depend on what marking they have- I might add that! I also have looked into the market, and I am not comfortable with the prices- most are too high or too low. If someone doesn't like my pricing, then that's fine! They don't have to. I'm just putting this out here for myself and maybe if my friends want to look at it. I don't like the way people usually price them- and that's okay! You support market pricing- and that's also okay! We all have a different way of pricing.
