THE NURSERY TREE

You wander quietly beside the river, or what remains of it during the dry season. The leftover mud squishes between your toes as you continue, you mind growing numb the farther you travel. So far you've only seen grass, grass, and more grass with the occasional cliff, plateau, and a tree. At this point your mind feels numb. Why did this pride have to live so far away in a vast sea of nothingness?

At some point, the dry river bed gets squishier and gives way to more water. Some more travelling later and a distant slanted plateau, larger than the previous ones, comes into view. With a treeline hugging the area underneath it, you give a sigh of relief. Pretty soon, the rumble of a large lion pride somewhere ahead reaches your ears.

Head empty, no thoughts, you decide to follow the sounds. You meet a hunting party of lionesses as they depart from the forest. They give you directions toward your destination and you follow them to a tee.

You arrive at a large, near dead tree that seems to lean dangerously off to the side. Cubs and adolescents alike are scampering about in front of it, yelling and playing as an odd submale watches you intently.

A red-faced lioness pulls herself out from a burrow underneath the large tree in front of you. She smells like dirt, oddly bitter and plant-like. She greets you with a smile before speaking.

"Welcome to the Nursery Tree! It's so nice to see someone interested in the Foundlings. Some of them are keepers, I can tell you that. You'd definitely take a load off of King Vlinoric's back, so why don't you take one home with you? I could sure use the help!"

Built by King Vlinoric and his pride, this den is dedicated to giving out free cubs, adolescents, and occasionally lionesses, chased or otherwise! Some things to note:

☛ The Garden and the Root will never leave my pride.
☛ Lions are labeled accordingly to their base, markings, and other traits. Clean lions have no inbreeding and/or Big Four!
☛ Adolescents labeled RtC are still free, and if not claimed, will be chased once they reach 2 years of age
☛ There is no limit for how many you may keep, but please, don't say "all of them!"
☛ Lions marked with a "☄" have AT LEAST one Tier 4 marking or higher, and/or multiple Tier 3 markings. Special markings like rosettes, BO, or restricted markings will also be noted.
