apologies if someone else has suggested this; i dug back a few pages but didn't find anything. if there's a similar suggestion already up i'd be happy to bump/support.

anyway. i'm tired of finding like 5 beetles in a row, using 1-3 energy each step, with no way to repel them. this is especially annoying during explore-heavy events where i'm already using hyena butter to skip lionesses, & end up encountering piles of larvae instead. we have aging pebbles and sex changers for beetles, so why not repellents?

i thought lemongrass would be appropriate, since it has natural insect repelling properties (here's a wikipedia source but i'm sure google has better ones). it would function like hyena butter, repel larvae for half an hour, and be sold in monkey business - the initial idea was for 100 SB but since aging pebbles & beetle sex changers are both significantly cheaper than their lion equivalents, i could see an argument for 50-75.

criticism/possible adjustments always welcome!

lastly, this incredibly lazy thing i made to illustrate my point:

or eating gives 1-2% energy (like the centipede, it gives 1% if you eat)

I would support both a repellent and an attractor for grubs

It won't give energy, it already has a chance to give 1 stat.

And as someone that likes that chance, give these poor people a way to stop seeing larvae. Not everyone cares about beetles or stat.

Oh, but just fyi, hyena butter doesn't (or isn't supposed to) increase event encounters. It should just force you to have a non-event encounter instead of a lioness.

edit: omfg I can't spell

@ Bezthiel: i didn't know that about hyena butter! figured it just rolled encounters normally while removing lionesses. thanks for the information!

Although I love our little beetle friends, I support since it doesn't really change much just like the hyena butter you stated ^^
