Introduction/Disclaimer:
· Hello there, so this is going to an in-depth guideline/course on how to gain stats properly. All of this will be based off my own experience as a player, input from other players as the thread goes, as well as facts on Lioden. If there's anything you feel I could add, I will! I am not claiming this is the best method, nor that you should religiously follow this guide. Everything here will be advice in chronological order of your potential heir's life. With that aside, let's begin!

_________________________________________________________________

0. Introduction:

· Things to consider at the beginning.

Regarding Your Heir.

_________________________________________________________________

1. Foundation to The Perfect Heir:

· To have the perfect heir for stat building, particularly stat monster building, you must to have a solid foundation.

General Advice:

_________________________________________________________________

2. Vigorous Dieting:

· As soon as you get ahold of your perfect heir, it's in your best interests to begin feeding them appropriately to the best of your ability. This will be geared towards foods/amusement items you can get year-round without much issue. [Go below to 'Event Alignment' for month-specific stat items.]

*** Note: Here is Lioden's Official Stat Item List on Wiki. listing some items I have left out due to rarity/low percentage/etc etc.

For your average player on a budget:
· Getting stat items is expensive in general, but these items I've listed you can get via exploring or buying from other players. All of these items cost . and/or are relatively easy to get your hands on.

For more privileged players:
· Below are items that a player with more wealth can aquire easily, of course, depending on the time of year.

_________________________________________________________________

3. Training/Patrolling:

· Not all players can be on Lioden constantly, and there's nothing wrong with that at all! This is going to be a rather short chapter since there's not much to elaborate here.

Basic Advice

_________________________________________________________________

4. The Reign Begins:

· Finally, the day has come for your heir to ascend to the throne. Below, we will discuss the best ways to gain stats as a king. This chapter is lengthy, I apologize for it.

_________________________________________________________________

5. Event Alignment:

· Below, we will discuss the event alignments that best correspond with stat building. Whether it be storyline choices or items you can acquire during each respective month. This section is in progress!

Chronological Order:
· Note, every title of the event will be a clickable link to it's respective page on the Wiki.

_________________________________________________________________

6. Conclusion:

· And there we have it! Your in-depth guide on how to easily build stats! Note, credits will be listed below to threads I used to help refresh my memory and/or thought would be helpful! Hope my course helped you all! If you feel like there's anything I could add or if you just have questions, comment below and I'll get to it! Thank you!

· A big thank you to all these users and sources to helping me create this guideline!

1. Maulise's Stat Giving EXP Item List.
2. Tilted Scene's Stat/Level Gain Guide.
3. Item Catalogue.
4. Lioden's Lioden's Official Stat List on Wiki.
** Note: Here there is more items I did not list due to them being either rare to find, rarely give stats, and not to turn the thread into a bigger novel.
5. Chonk's High Stat Guide. *** I wasn't aware of this one, but it's also useful!

Most people train til 14y 11m, for max stats. It's how I got my 10k statter, he went from 4602 to 9900 roughly from birth to kinging.
Big statters that is til 14y 11m

That's actually what I'm doing, I have to freeze my heir for a few days so he's on track!

Lovebird Plumage is a feather toy that actually gives a solid amount of stats, pretty reliably!

Personally, I use them over Dry Palm Leaves. You can get them both in February, and Lovebird Plumage gives 0-3 stats (Speed, Stamina, and Agility) at the same rate Dry Palm Leaves give 0-2 stats.

Thinking about it, the Flamingo Legs come from there too. If you're willing to forego grabbing obsessive amounts of breeding items, you can easily grab hundreds of each: I do that over buying all barks and balls, and it gives me 50-60-ish. More than enough for the year's heir.

Thanks for responding! Those were a bit tricky to place. They're useful, but just tricky to find due to being rare outside of the event. When I touch in the events I plan on listing the stat/energy/exp items you can get during them. The amusement section in that dieting chapter is more rounded towards year-round rarity/availability.

Ah, that makes sense. I was just thinking in terms of sheer numbers. But it's true that after the events, it's easier to find leaves than plumage. The Dry Palm Leaves are free in explore, and us Lovebird Plumage collectors wanna keep those cuz we paid for 'em lol

this guide is super useful!! definitely subscribing

also thought i'd drop a quick suggestion— maybe mention that if a player has a bit extra SB, Forgiving might not be the best choice because snake skulls are available for 150SB when you can't complete a quest. I know it's probably common knowledge, but i actually forgot abt snake skulls until like last week haha, and im sure it would be helpful for newer players as well to have the reminder ^^

I know you mentioned stoic in the personality section but since it's May this month and the mask will be available it's worth emphasising - I would strongly recommend the stoic personality for anyone with an existing king they're trying to build up. The mask for it is event-specific and in the shop later on this month (May), so the cost is basically nothing except a little event currency. So imo the payout of using 3 less energy per battle for every single explore battle is great value. You can fit in more battles, so more exp, so quicker levelling. I usually try to get several of the masks in May to last me through the year.

Lucky feet are another good investment. In the higher explore zones some NPCs can give 800+ exp per battle, so guaranteed wins can help a lot for levelling. If you can get lucky feet for a reasonable price they're well worth it.

@myriad i didn't know some NCPs had a usual rate of 800+! if you don't mind, do you have any you know off the top of your head?

@ Astrid - Yeah! Honestly, I wasn't going to include forgiving or bold for that reason, I actually might just remove it considering that.

@ Myriad - Yes! Stoic is the subjective best for players that like to battle. I'll emphasize that one! And geez, Lucky Feet slipped from my thought process while making this. Thank you for reminding me.

And thank you both for your responses!

@Astrid - it tends to be the most difficult ones, and in the higher biomes. So like by the time you get to Marshlands and Waterhole it'd be things like hippos/elephants/sharks/crocs, maybe buffalo? The amount of exp does vary from battle to battle though, they don't always give as much as that.

@Mariposa - also I just remembered there's a more or less complete list of stat food and toys here on the wiki which might be useful to link, or take info from? It gives types and amounts of stats from each item :)

The gorilla and black mamba in the waterhole would, at level 34 or so, give me a little over 800exp. The encounters were fairly rare, but Lucky Foot was definitely my friend there.

I forgot black mambas! They're practically unbeatable otherwise, definitely worth a lucky foot.
