I pretty much always choose to go for negative karma for my kings, over the years I've always found the payoffs are better that way, though at the end of the day it's down to personal choice. I think in all the years I've played over both accounts I've only had a total of 1 or 2 good karma kings lol.

Overall I just find it's easier to go the negative karma route, as well as a lot more profitable. Plus it's easier to maintain, especially if you're going to be fighting NCLs or anything like that which constantly reduces karma. You can also get plenty of free nesting via the white lion pelt encounter which is a bad karma exclusive, and that alone saves a fortune in my experience.
