Heyyy, so I've had some confusion with how breeding works. I don't breed for stats or mutations regularly, lately I've just been trying to breed pretty cubs. I've not been having much luck :P I've been breeding some of my pretty lionesses with pretty studs, but I end up with a potato cub. I also have no idea what fertility has to do with genetics, I just know that lower fertilities helps with mutations. I heard that lower fertilites help with what the mother passes down, but I get the same result with very low and high fert, so I don't really know if that's outdated or not. So, to anyone who knows what they're doing, please heLP 0 players like this post! Like? |

Fertility doesn't help with genetics, it aids what the mother passes down mutation wise. Lower fertility that is. Edit: You may be confused by where it says fertility is genetic on the wiki. This means a lioness' cubs will inherit a fertility near their mother's range. Genetics are separate from fertility and have to do with bases. You can read about genetics here and fertility here 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 14/09/20 @ 08:23:47 by Rox (Clean Fuchsia F9O) #BLM (#121082) |

To add: getting a lot of potato cubs is normal. Lioden breeding is very randomised, and good cubs with special stuff passed from parents tend to be rare. There's no gameplay way of improving the breeding results, really. Only breeding items can affect the cubs in their ways, but they are often too expensive to be used. 0 players like this post!
