🦊 The Fox Den 🦊
As you approach the huge tree, surrounded by neatly organised trinkets and items around it's base, you spot two dark amber eyes staring intently at you from a dark hollow in the tree's trunk. A red fox pokes its head out curiously, still eyeing you, appearing more eager now you can see its whole expression. You also notice a number of silver and golden-hued beetles crawling around the trunk, but as soon as you step closer the fox bares its teeth in warning. It calms down immediately when you cautiously step back. It looks upwards as if gesturing, and that's when you read the carvings in the tree's trunk above the hollow: "ITEMS FOR BEETLES; PROPERTY OF JADESTAR" Is Jadestar the fox? Or has a Pride really employed the help of a fox to run their shop? Oh well, wares are wares, you think to yourself as you continue to browse.
