King Abioye the First's half-brother. Though neither were sociable lions in their private hours, they were very close and faced many obstacles together. Those lionesses that did not find Abi's flirtations to be their cup of tea may have enjoyed Dak's more gruff and taciturn nature, instead. Most of his time was spent doing unknown readings and speaking with the air, or listening to distant sounds and reading smoke patterns. It's unknown of Dakarai would have made a good king or not. If asked about ruling his own pride, his answers always seemed to express that he preferred roaming and didn't think it was worth the bother. Food and protection were both available aplenty without the extra work, after all.

Foregoing the pride's ritual of immortality available to family, he instead chose to follow his brother into to where the kings of the past now reside with former pride members. This was considered a noble act and the two are honored together, starting a new tradition.
