I am Shakes; a strange name, but Sky sure knows how to pick just the right title for us.. As much as our years hidden away and the upset of the lands naturally bothers me, I don't share the anger of my siblings. Perhaps it's my gentle ivory coat, a sign of wisdom and peace like the elephants I share it with. Then, is it not ivory they are exploited for?.. I am a healer by trade and my familiar, Igor, could not be more suited- how well he flies off to find just the right flower or leaf! Dear little thing! If only my siblings could be at peace with our circumstance... You may see me, like my sisters, as the least of the players in this great game. However, I have bought forth a litter of four cubs whom will be the heirs of our hidden blood. They are the future we shall never see.
