Despiciens Semper

Rocketman is named after the mate of the pride's late king, Alan. He carries this title with reflection to the weight it holds; though his namesake turned and became much hated in his late years, he was a strong and loyal submale in his youth. It is a name with much history.

Rocket was born to the beautiful lioness Tiny. She is closely bonded with the queen, and as such managed to secure Rocket a place as a submale. Usually only wild lionesses found while patrolling and the widows and desendents of old leaders are permitted a place in Ta's pride. However, Tiny made such an impression upon her that she was allowed to reside beside Ta's most beloved, exclusive pride members- her own mates.

Rocket is his mother's pet, favoured and coddled shamelessly as his only siblings, his two sisters, migrated to live in West Duo and rarely visit. Though she is careful of growing too attached, Ta adores her son in her own way.
